Thanks for the comments! Sorry for the negligence.
I have been all consumed by many many portraits and there's no end in sight!!
The latest one has 7 people O_O I will post finished product of course!

Current book on tape is Tim Butcher's The Dresden files - very good so far, on book 2.
And here's some doodle fodder. Nothing top shelf.

There's some nice expressions in the doodles there, although some of the eyes don't seem to be focussing on the same things.

And that's an adorable random bird there.

Caspia & PeteJ- Yeah, there's definitely some wall-eyed stuff happening there. I'll have to keep an eye on that.... no pun intended....

Here's the portrait I'm working on for my nan's birthday. One more pass should finish it off well enough.

Hellloo! :] Thank you for your advice about the perspective! I was checking out your sketchbook and I like your style. Very Disney, very pretty. I really like the woman watching out of the window - you really made her seem metallic! :] Also like the chair in... post #... I can't remember. :p Anyway! thanks again for your advice.

    Keep up the good work!

    @Rhubix:

Thanks for visiting my sketchbook, I really appreciated.
Your feedback was more than welcome and will work on the things you pointed out!

Great sketchlines mate, and I'm an absolute fan of your car. You rendered it out very well, especially the chrome and reflections! great study

Thanks for the comments! Diversity is the spice of life . The only down side is there's never enough time!
There will be more cars in the future. My father and I used to go to car shows all the time so I've a love of old cars. Especially the big boats of the 60's.

Today's offering to the art gods are some house doodles and little comp studies.
Composition is going to be my next focus... since most of my drawings outside of work have no frame of reference...

Thanks for the comments Back to work on By the Rapids season 4!
I've got some subway stuff and a few pencil doodles - I can't remember the last time I used one of those!
I'm going to dig out my red pencil one of these days... if only I knew where I put them...
    Also a painting experiment.

Good call Dana_T ^_^. I've been in love with animation since I was 5 and saw the little mermaid for the first time. It's been 20 years and clearly I haven't gotten over it.

    Thanks for commenting Dimi

Here's some doodles and a colour sketch of one of the many face drawings I did on previous pages.

I like your Disneyesque style and I can see how it had an influence on you becoming an animator. Nice car study.

Really cool sketchbook. Inspiring to see someone do realistic and cartoon. I'm trying to learn both, I do think that this sketchbook can help me understand how I can improve. Thanks!

Speaking of Disney... here are some 5-10 minuet gestures from Disney's Tarzan (so intense!) I was going for posing so they're a bit off model. That would be step 3 >.<
Also, today's sketchs from the subway ride home using my trusty .10$ bic pen!
