    Hey Rhubix!

Nice work as always! Your sketches are always so pleasing to the eye. I'd like to try and give back for all your wonderful suggestions, so I'm going to critique you, but you don't have to take it seriously if you don't want to haha. think if I could recommend anything to you, it would be to try and include more of the environment in some of your sketches. I noticed in a lot of your sketches for the past several pages your characters are just sort of floating there in white space. Sometimes you add in a chair here and there, but I think you're quite capable of adding more of the environment into these sketches. I don't know! haha.
    Sketchbook -- Any feedback helps!

Agreed with Eroquii, it'd be good to see you tackling more environments and placing your characters in them.

Your stuff is amazing, keep up the great work!

oh man oh man oh man delicious linework as always and i love the body language and facial expression in the farmer haha, the figures are overall awesome but i think you could push the depth alot more, i want to feel that arm receding in space in that figure that its grabbing his elbow, exaggerate this moves in perspective its good practice and makes for some awesome focal points, anyway you have shape right now think of form good luck and keep it up!

The boy and girl combo kinda reminds me on TITAN EA
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-BFlw0QQmw
The Mimik and body language from both is perfectly done,.....

I WOULD looove to see the prozess of how you start out,
do you do the gesture, do you block in and check negative
    spaces etc.

Lightship69 - haha- post more and I'll think about it, sir!

Iven - I LOVE Titan AE! There aren't many main stream cartoons that I havn't seen.... 3-5 or 20 times haha. I don't have much of a sketching process. What you see is what you get. All the stuff done on the bus is in ball-point pen, so there's no erasing or editing. just raw sketching. Gesture and Negative space are in the forefront of my mind, but it's based on hours and hours of repeat process. In college I had between 6 and 12 hours of life drawing a week, for 3 years in class alone. We did a lot of studies of pure negative space studies - and also many silhouette studies. If you study old animation from the 30's to the 50's you'll see lots of great silhouette work. Warner brothers stuff is great - Max Fleischer stuff, betty boop - popeye. Watch the old stuff and look for it.

been sick for the past while, so the bus sketches are a bit weak and a few white on gray digitals -- so I put together a montage of other stuff that hasn't made the SB cut for various reasons to appease the CA gods

    Hi matey

I was looking at the stuff in post 641 and had to say the pidgeon hunters made me laugh out loud they were great! but the one that made me roll on the floor was the one where the girl in the black dress is casting a spell over the girl in the purple bakini and I thought that is either some serious black magic or a true friend helping her mate by getting rid of belly button fluff!!
ha ha ha ha sorry but thats what happened in my head..... I know.... I know back to therapy!

stay well my mate and all the best.

    Thanks folks

Lightship - haha- that's from a story where the girl pulls a curse from the one in the bed. Fluff curse? who knows?

Work is keeping me super-busy! I don't even have time be tired.
personal work has gotten a bit light- but here's my weekly sampler - as promised.
I tried doing a few 30s gestures with pose maniacs but every pose is a skanky one- or an upshot of a crotch. wtf? Some bus sketches- and some digital isometric stuff.

Hence, Why nobody should use posemaniacs, It's a horrible program. No customization at all.
I always found facial and body expression really hard to internalize.

no kidding flashback - the only other one I know of is Pixilovely and I've been through it a dozen times.
If anyone else knows some good figure slideshows I'd love to know about them!

The only other one I know of is love castle: http://lovecastle.org/draw/
but I find they have several pictures that are the same from pixel lovely.
There is also LÉcorche (smartphone app) for muscle/skeleton markings (not for gesture though) which I find helpful. Although it only shows one body position, the cool thing is you can see the body in all perspective.

Rhubix- Nice updates as usual! Also, I'm not sure if you stockpile reference, but there's an app called Posemaster you run on your computer using any pics you have. So you can just find your own figures/gestures and create a folder for it to run from. Pretty cool, but takes work to build folder, but really worth it. Also sucks because I don't think the screen for the software is adjustable. You can Google it to check it out. Also Clocksketch on Youtube is pretty alright, way better then posemaniacs! Pixelovely and Lovecastle are alright but redundant.

Those characters are so cool. Such an awesome style. Also i love the stokes . Even with pens your stokes are so confindent. The gestures done in color pencils look good. I used to use pose maniacs but the poses there are a bit stiff . I use the drawing script mostly for poses, since it has real photos. Also http://www.characterdesigns.com/ have a lot of good resources and stock photos.

The isometric stuff look great. I find isometric art intimidating for some reason. Mostly cause i failed the test i got for isometric art .XD Need to learn more about it.

Post 653 is my favorite. So many characters . Keep drawing more.
