    SamC: haha thanks man!
    Eric-Anthony: thanks a ton dude!

    Yay a daily update!

My stuff always ends up being all red and orange, so decided to paint a bumskee inspired purple dude, he looks pretty serious but ahh well.

Ignore the rest especially the enviro study (piece of crap)

PNate: thanks man! glad you liked it
    phaesia: cheers dude!
Joyvenn:totally wish i got that joke haha thanks for the visit.
Collywobbles: glad you like my balls zach! sorry I had to.....
    alexson: Cheers bro!!!

Went skiing on Saturday, was fuckin sweet when we got up there it was around 7 in the mourning and the mountains were all purple, blue and orange. steam was rising from the cliffs and rocks and the clouds were right below us. totally understand why artist would trek hundreds of miles in horrible conditions just to paint environments.

Anyways here’s something, the meaningful story behind it is: two dudes lose there shirts get pissed off and start fighting each other, this was fun just messing around with colours.

OWWW teen chow 100 is coming up can't wait!! totally gonna put everything into it!! guhh so pumped. my shit will be better than this hopefully!

Sweet updates Benjie. But this piece reminds me a lot of this one: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ofD1WK64FP...wolfvsvamp.jpg
Maybe you should try different themes and topics for your next pieces. But it's only a suggestion. You should also vary the faces of your characters a bit. They mostly look the same (I have the same problem ).But you are progressing all the time.Just keep it up.

Rushlord: ahaha ssshhh don't tell anyone! yeah I know they look super similar I wasn’t quite happy with the first and tried doing something a little different, basically I’m trying to do a couple paintings in the subject matter that you tend to see from white wolf, that kind of dark fantasy type stuff. hoping to get some work from them in the future

But totally understand the faces thing, I was actually just thinking about doing some face studies in pencils.

Hi man, really love where all this is going I think you should try and alternate the hues of your skintones to that of your background to create more contrast, and make the pictures feel less monochrome. Don't be scared to go a little wild with colours, you can get away with a lot. Just a thought, keep it up

Oohoo awesome stuff Benji. Really love the 2 peepz piece. Looks great and your wizard came out reallly lovely as well. I like the raggedness to your work looks very original eventhough it reminds me a bit of d@niel. Last piece is awesome though lovely colours and expression on face. Nailed it pretty decently i know how super hard those darker skintones are cause I am failing epically at my black wizard shaman dude. Keep it up dude. Oh and I added you to msn. Woo.

Dude, that wizard turned out really great! It's really nice to see you try a more varied colour scheme, although a bit muddy in some places. Those last studies look great too. Keep up the good work! ;D

I have to agree with Krato. I like your pencil studies a lot better. In previous works I liked your use of color a lot better too, now it seems to be more convoluted. Colors tend to compete with each other for attention which is distracting the viewer to look at 1 certain point. So be careful with your colors and make sure they all "point" in the same direction, towards your focal point. =)

I love the dreamy pallete of these pieces mate!!!I also like your rendering a lot.U can push it more playing with edges probably, also refining a little more in the places you want to have focus.
Keep up like that, you are doing great!!!

ryan a.: hey man thanks, yeah studies are pretty key, I need to do some more actually.
SamC: cheers dude really appreciate the advice, ill try and keep it in mind.
jordyskateboardy: thanks man, yeah I get the Daniel thing, I go through phases of being heavily inspired by certain people, Justin sweet, bumskee, kekai, just to name a few. Taking on a certain degree of there style is just a result of looking at their work closley, it lessens over time I think but its been one of the major ways for me to get better. You just need to make sure you don't end up looking like the shit version of "that guy" lol, thanks for the comment. owww and yeah we should talk sometime
PieMonster: Don't lie to me pie! I no you secretly laugh at my feeble skills. Ill destroy you one day..... one day nuh man thanks for the comment, I agree with the muddiness.
a la bapsi: Thanks maan! edit: GIRL! just found out your a wowman! sorry haha.
lilnebo: cheers, ill try and get better, still suck so bad gahh hate it!! talk to you sometime.
Krato: thanks bud, changed the settings on mah scanner, they don't look so shit anymore.
Crahzz: yeahh man! that totally makes sense, I tried to use simpler colours in my last painting, hopefully it works, still a long way to go.
kingkostas: thanks for the tips man, always try and do that stuff, but its good to have things pointed out like that. cheers

An illo for Last teen standing and some wips that I probably shouldn’t be showing anybody at this point, but I dunno I’m learning shit from them. loving environments at the moment super fun!

Man really need to get good enough to get some work for a company like white wolf or something so I can quit my piece of shit job cleaning dishes, Fuckn need to work harder!

Your last post looks nice--I really like the second one.

But man, what happened with round 2 of LTS? You didn't post in the finals thread. I was looking forward to seeing yours... Bit of a shame really (especially with Bumskee as one of the judges).

your enviros are interesting but your being to reliant on rocks. i mean its just rocks.. and more rocks.. and more rocks.. Lets see some vegetation or something..

and if you feel your arent learning.. then learn something do some anatomy studies or something!

no worries u are improving, so just keep up working hard and everything will come.
Nice depth in the second piece. The character maybe needs a little more contrast to bring it a little more towards the viewer and keep the middle area with the lovely rock as a middleground. Now they seem to have the same value range so i consider them same level
    keep it up!!!
