was lucky enough to meet up with the very talented dudes from Weta, really inspirational. want to paint but im forced into doin fricken abstract art, for high school portfolio.

hmmm if I had to crit
the lighting on some of the portraits isn't very consistent, and can solved just by being a little bit subtler and really looking at where the light source is coming from

high schools pretty much over forever!, drawing every day waking up at 6am yay! gotta start dishing out some studies now, hopefully ill be able to update more frequently.

did a shit load of anatomy studies today but my scanners to crap so i couldn’t post. did a wee master study, should of spent more time on it, learnt a few things though.

The quality of you studies has gone from 0 to 100 since the beginning of this sketchbook. Loving the crazy demon guy and those noses are really nice as well.

Your most recent post has a few issues, mainly the edge quality.

gggrrahhhh...... not really into anything I’m doing at the moment, trying to work out the many problems with my anatomy. did another still life, keeping it simple its a bit better than the last (not that the last one was hard to improve on).

gonna do something awesome next post or better than the shit iv been posting, more master studies, portraits and still life’s.

Nice to see some more painting in here. You might want to go to a smaller brush when finishing these up. Also, your survey of anatomy seems a bit unrealistic, I suggest getting hold of some more reference material. Keeping looking good!

did a few more anatomy studies but I’m not to happy with them, i think ill try again tomorrow and update then.

Nice improvement here man. I really like the demon piece in post #74! I would like to see him in darker colors, glowing eyes, smoke coming out of him and a lot of veins etc, haha. Sorry for my imagination talk! Your latest faces are looking really good too.
