    Okay, so I've got some other images to finish, but variety is the spice of life right? Really love this thread...it's such a great excuse and motivation to draw people which I almost never do.

    Straight Edge Ryan as some sort of post-apoc tribal. XD I rushed this a bit towards the end, so it's a bit rough in spots, and the perspective is off on my uber cheatly use of the biohazard symbol, but admittedly perspective is a really weak point for me.

    @Alesoun-
    Why so shy? I just got something done that's been in my way so maybe I'll be able to do an alla prima oil of someone when I'm over in AZ this weekend. I think this is a blast.

    Arttorney it's not so much that I'm shy; I just hate posing for pics. Funnily enough, video doesn't bother me in the slightest. I believe it's the other way round for most people....
    I'll dig out some more pics when I have time.

    This is supposed to be serhc as a woodcut. Portrait in pencils, with willow charcoal vignette, darkened to the max by paint, and then woodcut effect from Painter Essentials.

    Alright! I did a couple quick drawings of people. They're all a little off, but I hope you like em anyway!

    they are petitemistress, sadetar, attourney, stoph, black spot, and jake kobrin

    and for the last one, the writing says "DUH DUH DUH jake ko-brin jake ko-brin jake ko-brin" which you have to sing to the song raining blood by slayer because it is the most metal song and jake seems like a metal person.

    Is there any specific reason my post and drawing (*cough* first one to do it*cough*) of spaztastic got deleted in the original thread?

    Ya start a trend and ya get no credit.

    If I make the suggestion that we start a thread in the reference section of the forums for posing as reference material from other peoples thumbnails so they can use our photo's for a final painting.... will I get credit for that?

    No, it was probably accidental because your post was actually going to be copied over to this thread so that you would get credit. So sorry about that.

    Heh, no problem (was kinda worried ppl might've taken my post as serious. My sense of humor doesn't seem to translate well online).

    I still think we ought to start a thread in the reference area. People could post what they look like, then artist could post their rough drawing and ask such person if they'd do a photo with such and such lighting, if possible. Let's say someone did a pose with a machine guy, someone else could say "ooooo, I like that, except I wish you had something looser to wear and was in this pose, with a strong light to the left of you" (with sketch supplied)?? Eh?

    (thanks for the compliments, Spaz)
