It sounds like an Emily Dickinson line. This is beautifully painted.

Kek: Thank you! I really enjoyed painting the bird.

    Stephen Mason:
The title and the words that went with the painting are my own. And thanks for visiting my blog. C:

Velocity Kendall: Thank you, but I've never read anything by Emily Dickinson.

Beautifully painted but her arm(s) seem sort of long.

    Omg, this thread is alive!

hapakid88: This painting is about freedom and imprisonment. Glad you like!

Stark: Thank you for your honest comment. I agree with you that her arms are a little long, but I do not see that as a problem in this painting.

psychoboy: Ooo. So this is a haiku. Haha, I know nothing about poems and their formats! Thank you for dropping by at my blog. C:

    Noah Bradley: Thank you. ♥

digi: Is that you, Bobby? Great to see you here. And thank you!

Pristine expression converted into a juicy illustration. Great color scheme, in the close up of the girl the glint in her marble black eye was an effective touch in bringing out the longing of the character.

    Keep doing you

I love the way her arm that is outside the cage is the only piece of her body with natural skin tones. Awesome piece.
