Thanks for stopping by. I knew there must be a few others here who are struck by the same strange chord. Chris, surface and paint are true loves of mine and are impossible to separate from image and form. Thanks for noticing, but an experienced eye will do that.

Just finished another small piece on copper. This one is 2x2 inches. It seems I keep working smaller. Pretty soon they will cease to exist and I will have become a conceptual artist. I think I'll call this, "I Always Feel that there's a Target on My Face.," or not.

    Jammed

I should probably just wait and load a bunch of images at once but I'm getting ready for a show and load them as I think about it.

Your work is absolutely mad. I love it, especially the fact that you make sure to add a weight and realness to even the most mental character designs. Top marks.

Thanks you guys. I know I'm a little off center but I make up for it with charm. That thing the last character is holding is a weapon with Liquid Clear Organic Sites for optimum sniping. Anyway here is the latest for my show. This is called: "Cyclaurian Bunny".

Something a little John Jude Palencar-ish about the brush style, but more stylized and psychologically twisted. Good, but weird.

I'll keep my weird little worlds going. And if I could paint like Palencar I wouldn't be an obscure, strange little world painter. Anyway here is the last of the dark series for awhile at least, unless I'm feeling that dark vibe again.

Great work! Really enjoyed looking at this work! I don't think you need to compare yourself to other artists, your imagination is fab.

Thanks you guys. One of the reasons I like this site is the acceptance of a wide variety of visual directions. Mine is definitely a tangent but I love going there. And James is proud of my work as I continue to be proud of his. I also use his examples in teaching when I teach every day.

Just a wee bit higher, up in Lewiston. You should get a show up here, there are quite a few galleries (in Moscow & Pullman) that I am sure would show your work. Moscow is really Bohemian, and very out of place for Idaho.
