very beautiful stuff!
very beautiful stuff!
Here are some new things. They are replacements for pieces sold at my gallery here. First completely sold out show. Tooting my own horn. First two are acrylic on copper the last two on panel. I was part of a Sendak tribute http://www.terribleyelloweyes.com which was shown at Gallery Nucleus. The last painting is one of my pieces for that. Great tribute show for a great book and artist.

yay where the wild things are!
Thank you for reminding us all why we do this
Wow incredible work! I absolutely love the moodier pieces.... I wish I lived a bit closer to the Nucleus Gallery. They always have such great exhibits, this would be no exception.
Bill, the new works are cool. Congrats on the sold out show. It was a good one.
Bill,
Very cool work. I enjoyed seeing your medal winner at the Society of Illustrators!

A fantastic universe you have here, great job!
Thanks for all the love. We are getting a great variety here at CA and I'm loving it.
wezefire-Wild Things is a classic and I was honored to be a part of this project
Main Loop-I wish I could have gone to the opening too. I heard it was a blast with record setting attendance.
Cody-Yeah the sellout was cool now if I could just add a zero at the end of my prices. Get back to work.
Sterling-It really is great to have you here, hope you stay awhile. The medal was a great honor, a once in a lifetime thing for me but a yearly occurrence for you. Keep doing great stuff.
hurricane-more and more coming. maybe a book in the works.
aaro_n-prints coming on my blog and the originals are always for sale for about 3 minutes. seriously I'd give you one but I don't know you well enough.
SeB C BiEn-wow, took me awhile just to type your name. Thanks. I like where my head lives.
Seriously,I like your works very much~~~unique and magical
Is it any meaning with the blue and red eyes in the first post?I like it~~~
Un1Ted-thanks! There is meaning involved with the glasses but I'm not sure I should spoil what you think about it by telling you what I think. Sometimes I feel that I don't have exclusive rights of meaning just because I paint something. I know what it means to me but what does it mean to you? You probably have a cooler notion than my own.
Awesome stuff, you got a very nice style going on.
A new painting on copper (3x3 inches) for a show in the UK. It started as a study for a series called "The Bombists". I think I got a little carried away and tried to do too much in such a little space. Anyway I've attached a couple of recent illustrations for any who are interested. I'm not a digital genius but love the computer for the things it does do. These four are about as tech as I get.

I was invited to participate in a He Man tribute show at Gallery 1988 in LA. how could I possibly pass that up. It's in January. Apparently it's going to be quite the affair. Hope I can get there.

Awesome stuff! Love some of the commonalities you share with Shaun Tan, like the way you geometrify stuff. Great design.
Style also kinda reminds me some of the pop surrealists.
I especially like your idea for the story about the Bosch characters-- what an awesome premise! I look forward to its publication.
