Am I in the right place?

Hello. I'm new here, but I've been a lurker for a while. I love the talks about art and the lounge section, but, for what I've seen, it looks like if sci-fi themes are the main subject of the works. And, as for technique, digital painting. As I work mainly with traditional media and my illustrations are for books aimed to children or young adults I'm not sure if this is the right place for me, so I'm going to post some of my works (If I'm able) and so you tell me. Thanks.

These are pretty nice for the most part. I wouldn't say that the first few are going to go over well in the children/teen market, though. Especially the slight nudity and noose.

Cool style, though. Some of them look slightly unfinished, in a manner that suggests incompleted work rather than intentionally unfinished. Overall, I dig 'em.

Thanks, sourgasm. No problem with these two illustrations. They've already been published. The first one was for a book of russian tales (most of them quite scary) and the one with the nudity for Ovid's Metamorphoses. Thanks for your comment. I'll think about the unfinished issue.

Certainly you're in the right place. CA ain't just for digital works.

In regards to your work. [I also took a geezer at your website]
I must say that each piece make for a beautiful narrative.
    Awesome.

For some reason, your renders have reminded me that I should
also put some detail into my pieces.

Great pieces. Makes me want to colour pencil something right now.
Thank you for making an entrance.

PS. I've got to ask what species are those birds? [They seem a bit tiny, no? Else that kid has a big melon]
