    Really nice sketchbook Jatherip
As others have stated, you are headed in the right direction, but you need to work on your anatomy and proportions a little more. Keep doing these studies too, they help a ton when it comes to learning color and lighting. Great work so far, and I hope I've helped in some way.

thanks!! for the comment in my sketchbook. yes yes, the values, the proportions, anatomy, still so much to learn, so much to practise...

You have some cool face studies in your sketchbook and it looks like you usually stick to the range of skin tones. try to blender some slight tones of the colors that you would use for the environment into the skin. That way the skin won't look that sterile.

I just had a look on your profile. Damn, you are talented. And yet only 17! Makes me wonder what if I had started to paint earlier. Keep it up!

Hey man, your values are getting really fucking good! Especially in those goblin portraits. Your TD's are awesome, but I've already told you that, would be cool to see you take some of them further though.
The posing on your girl with the gun is great, her expression is great, and I really like the textures and details you've got in the gun and armour. Only thing letting it down, (and you already know this) is the hair. SO SORT IT OUT!! haha, would like to see more of your pencil work as well. Looking forward to our next TD.

    Peace!
    Dan

oooo really like that enviro you've got going on up there!!! one thing i'd like to point out that i'm noticing: your render of a figure or character seems to reach a certain point and then you totally stop and start a new one. while that in itself is good practice (building the basics of a character) you should really go back to some of your favourites and finish them. it'll be good test of rendering abilities and knowledge. when you push yourself like that you will eventually discover more about what you know and what you need to know. so go back to some of those (which look pretty stellar, especially the dude with the red lightsaber) and keep at them. remember, a painting is never finished, only abandoned.

    cheers buddy....and keep rockin!!!
