Thankyou very much guys, bhanu i'll check it out right now. The Argento comic actually isn't looking very good when test printed, I am running out of time and some pages are meh.. Oh well. Anyway I'll do some short comic stories or at least one during summer holidays. Along with the bestiary and fashion illustration portfolio and some pencil drawings (I always, before holidays, think it is like 20 months, infinite time and will do everything)

i have no idea how i could have missed all this goodness till now.
    Very interesting work!

that labyrinth illustration is really cool and i'm loving the recent sketchy bestiary!

"obviously this stuff is not what many people on this site is looking for" you say?
good thing there are also threads like this one on this site, otherwise it would be a very boring place.

TheGnoll thank you, glad you like it.
bhanu I so hope it's NOT like Adventure Time. Not that I don't like the show, actually I was talking to somebody the other time about how good they have the character designs in there (by the way, they have a flickr account with tons of character sheets posted http://www.flickr.com/photos/84568447@N00/ ). But it's also very pop. I hope my creatures are not that pop and don't really resemble Adventure Time and such style. I hope it feels more like medieval art (which I love and always say medieval has the best monsters drawn ever) than Adventure Time.

If you like Adventure Time, let me suggest you the Marvelous Misadvendures Of Flapjack, which is an older show also aired on Cartoon Nerwork, with overall better and more original art I think (but again, I like Adventure Time too). It has very similar theme and even very similar characters: The two heroes are a little naive boy hungry for adventures and an experienced older pirate. Propably Adventure Time just copied it.
It's brilliant and I love the main character, Flapjack, much better written than Adventure Time in my opinion. And of course perfect voices. Wasn't able to youtube my favourite episodes but found this nice sound effects compilation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8edYmNZvvE

    Alright, few more sketches:

I've been watching this thread for quite some time and finally decided to register so I could comment on it.

I have to say that your work is a bottle of water in a desert. Most artists these days seem to be fixated on either realism or anime/manga (Or both). There is next to nothing for those of us who want to see art that isn't concerned with anatomy but with freedom of expression.

Your creatures remind me of Lovecraft but overall the style itself is totally unique, I haven't seen anything else like it. Look forward to seeing more from you.

These works bring out a special feeling and mood. I think that means that they are to be respected and that they work as a unity. Something unique can be made with your style mate!!! keep up maturing this

Really loving your creatures, they have medieval feel. Pixel comics kick ass too, especially b&w one - pure madness. Your stuff is most awesome stuff. btw if You haven't heard about voynich manuscript you should check it out.

Thanks Suja Of Jauhnral, glad I made someone register here. "Most artists these days seem to be fixated on either realism or anime/manga (Or both)." That actually is not the problem of world's art, just try to look for paintings not only here and on Deviantart and CGtalk and so on.

    Kingostas thank you.

hu-ha thanks, I've seen Voynich manuscript and I think it has the most beautiful plant illustrations ever.
