I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do
    Learning never exhausts the mind.
    Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions.
He who loves practice without theory is like the sailor who boards ship without a rudder and compass and never knows where he may cast.

Very colorful stuff, suggest you work more with your anatomy it seems off. You should also work with your paintings with faces and characters.

    Today

Felt like doing some environments today so

    then I felt Arrakis

then I was working on this when I got some bad news and I tried working on it some more but my heart wasn't in it anymore
So as Leo said art is never finished just abandoned.......not that I am even sure this is art in the "High Art" sense but in the sense that I used my hands and made marks in a digital fashion. So is a tablet still mark making I know my hands never get dirty when I do digital art and if my computer starts to smell like linseed oil something is probably wrong....

and since this is a journal/sketchbook
let me say goodbye to someone who gave up and say to others life isn't always great, sometimes it is not even good but it is life and life is.....
    So no matter what LIVE.......

I like the watercolour you did in May, and all the digital neon patterns with women in them are interesting too. I think if you'd like to keep improving you should work from reference more, to complement your imagination - maybe a whole lot more self portraits?

    Bob Ross

So I did some environments and I used Bob Ross as inspiration
I was surfing the internets and found a site selling Mr. Ross' DVD
and they had pictures of the covers each DVD has 13 paintings I think
anyways I looked at the cover images and did some environments based on them. So Mr Ross did all the work I use his color scheme(mostly) and his composition(mostly)
    So this......Name: Paintings_Series_04_[C].jpg
Views: 423
Size: 8.3 KB

    became this
    Name: ross1.jpg
Views: 428
Size: 335.9 KB

and then I did some more
    Name: ross2.jpg
Views: 424
Size: 164.9 KB
    Name: ross3.jpg
Views: 431
Size: 321.8 KB
then this one became pretty abstract
    Name: ross4.jpg
Views: 406
Size: 42.7 KB
and this one has a 50's Sci-Fi pulp fiction feel to it, at least to me
    Name: ross5.jpg
Views: 419
Size: 82.0 KB

so thats what I've been up to I did some other stuff but I wouldn't even hang it on the refrigerator of my enemies.....

well this is what it is

So I have done nothing worthy of the great site that is concept art but since this is my sketchbook I thought I would u/l some recent sketches and some project starts that I have deemed as failures on some if not many levels

so if you stop by and enjoy good for you if not thats good too but whatever it is you do do it to be you.......
