Nice sketchbook. I really like the way you "color". I just got a Wacom Bamboo Fun which came with Corel Painter Essentials 4; but I'm clueless. Haha.

    Updated 13/02

    Placeboast : Hehe thanks
D@niel : Thanks !! means a lot coming from you
congadingsda : thanks, I'll try to do some more enviro, and archi.
Shadow Stalker : I must say when I first bought my wacom I thought hey man it's going to be so easy (as if the wacom was going to do everything for me) but man we all got to practice thats all. And with hard work you can progress really quickly I think you should look at some sketchbooks like D@niel, Algenpfleger, Vorace who did work hard and had their fruits.
wilkerson : Thanks man I'll keep on working

Awesome Baba Yaga. Maybe you can put a little bit more detail in the forest ground but the character's really nice Thanks a lot for the workthrough!

Your art has a lot of mood, character and personality. Apart from the fact that your colours are lovely, that your techinque is good and that your anvironments are top notch, I can think of few things to say ;P The archer on the rocks and the orange girl on the blue field are stunning. It seems you are pushing yourself towards learing new things and trying out different subjects, that´s great!

One thing I think you could pay additional attention to is the effect all the reflected light in the environment, and particularily from the ground, has on the values and colours of your subjects. Perhaps that´s just a fetish of mine, reflected light ^^

You have my respect and and a high five! I´m looking forward to seeing mooooaaarr!
    No pain, no gain.

You're from Istanbul, that's very exciting. I love to see the differences in the art of people from different cultures..

As some already mentioned, great mood in your paintings.

    Look forward to more.

The use of lighting in your work is great, you really do get the feeling of the weather and time of day across to the viewer.

just one crit for ya, on the baba yaga piece it really doesn't look like she is floating in the mortar as well as it did in the earlier sketches, it might be the amount of reflectted colour on the bottom of it.

    cheers

nice works you have here, they have a nice vibrant and fresh feel to them. I feel like the ones that are more successful you seem to have taken more time/thought with the preliminary drawing...good stuff!

    Just some thoughts.
The light in the baba yaga piece is awsome. I really like the small light parts on the ground. I do think the colours on the baba should be more influenced by her surroundings though, eg her hair.
I like the winter city pic. Just like it.
I also like the unfinishedness of the elefants, but the perspective on that flower vendor looks really wrong. If it was fotorefffed I'd go back and fix that up.
Now to your wip. It promises a whole lot, but it is still way wip so I'll just give some basic thoughts. FOrst of all I'd change the whole format. I'd say do it horizontal and not vertical and try to incorporate the designs church in teh design. I really like the subject, though.

    Cheers
