I agree the statues are a plus, and we have the little indians for scale too so yes mate it works well (IMO).

I like the last two girls sketches too they have a classy feel to them, it almost feels 1950s era to me, I dont know if thats what you were going for but thats what I get. It might be the hair and the pose that is doing it for me whatever it is though I just like it.

good job and all the very best to you my mate

The girl on the board is a bit Elvgren! I like that a lot you captured her facial expression and gesture spot on!

Nice cleavage too, nice one, was just passing and saw the update and decided to see what was what!!

    all the best mate.

Thanks for dropping by in my sketchbook!
Unfortunately, all the ateliers around here are really expensive. So its not much of an option for me right now.

Anyway, the improvement from the first page to now is amazing.
Also everything here looks phenomenal and your studies are really strong. Keep it up, I'll definitely be watching!

SophieW Thanks, it's very kind of you

Lightship69 Hey there lad, well it is an Elvgren study I even wrote "after Elvgren" on it :]
    Glad to see you here.

Charmer Hey Flo, well CA was down for quite some time anyway, you did not miss that much.
As for what i'm doing well i will explain few lines lower.

BlackDelphin Wow Cristina you are the new Houdini of our age hehe, you dissapear like a pro
Thanks and remmember to come more often! You're always welcome here.

FUSHANDCHUPS Sometimes less is more, and even tho this is far from great i'm kinda fond of how it turned out.

KONM Pity, but you're talented and will manage

So i've been absent for quite some time, i had alot of stuff on my mind. The most important thing which was occupying my head was that Watts atelier flight to USA
unfortunately i did not get the Visa, so i won't be able to go there anymtyime soon :/ I was extremely pissed out as i was planning this for a long time, saving money, working hard to earn enough cash to get there. And they main reason why i did not recieve it was the american embassy worker's doubt that i will be able to pay for a 6 month trip..... I won't even comment as he was clearly a douche which wouldnt even wnat to see my bank account status, but whatever. I'll either try again in few months or go somewhere else, London or Stockholm, or Toronto, we'll see.

I kinda felt that i've burned out too, the will to draw or paint just you know vanished. even tho i did some stuff from time to time. I'm slowly recovering from that awful state, hope it will be better and better from now on.

First batch is done from life, like the guerilla sketch of that couple at a local restaurant. The vintage charcoal portrait's from an old photo refference as is the magic dude. ( pictures were taken in weak light scenario hence the poor quality )

Love that last arm study, now can we get some abs? :p
I'm trying not to disappear to soon again, I promise I'm trying

So far, I just ended a draw every day week in my sketchbook, and now
I'll try and draw every weekend. Lots of tests coming towards my way,
so I'm trying to keep it real here.

Nice studies in your sketchbook, would love to see some more more more!
Hope you're in the art mood again, well and happy, and ready to kick ass.

Cristina So glad to see you here Cris! Well i guess it must be tough to study medicine and trying to evolve as an artist, those are really 2 things that occupy alot of time, and I worry that you'll have to drop one eventually. Sure you can still manage i do not neglect that, but it will be super hard, good luck and best wishes to you!

A warcraft-ish speed, I'll try to push it even further sometime soon, need to bring in some refference for that as i pulled this out of my head basicly, which was not a really huge problem as i have to admit, that i've wasted like 3 years of my life playing WoW...

Hi! Just wanted to pop by and give you a giant thumbs up. All your stuff is very clean and obviously very thoughtful in its execution. Good stuff! I'd love to see more concept stuff from you. I'm excited to see what you'd do.

Yemi775 Hey there man! How you doing?
Thanks for the vist and comment.

    Vylla Glad you like it
About that concept stuff, well i wanted to be a concept artist when i was starting out, but now i know it's not for me.
I'd stick to illustration and some fine art in the future. But i guess you will see some concepts every now and then, so stay tuned! :]

I've sold my still very capable Desktop rig and got myself a macbook pro instead, that allows me to work in many more places, as my room is lighted very poorly for almost entire year, i had to rely on artificial lights almost all the time.
Hell to be honest the sunlight comes in only iduring summer in the late afternoon. Sooo having that portable bad boy means more still lifes and possible some field work, who knows!? :>

    Here's a little update.

Some digital sketches from photo, more of a lay-in of my buddy Wojtek, my feet from the mirror, poorly rendered i was sitting quite far away from the mirror and it was hard to see the details.

The desert picture is awesome, particularly the colors and the linework on everything else is, per usual, pristine. Love it. It's good know you know what you're aiming for, as well, and I look forward to whatever you're going to be putting. Looking forward to it!

nice lines and very clean smooth paintings

I think this smoothness need to be cover with texture, especially in last one, clothing can't be that smooth,
