Nice work here man. The movie still came out really really nicely. Did you just use a regular brush (hard round) and put a film grain over it once finished or did you use a combination of brushes (textured included) and then put a film grain over it? Also, how long did you spend on it?
Been loving the figure work entries. How long is the total time spent on those figure studies? Been thinking of joining the daily challenge myself.
Cheers mate, keep up the great work!
I love your figure studies.
great stuff here ninjac, keep up everything ( and nice movie still !! )
Awesome thread and great documentation of improvement! It's inspiring!
Mr.Pryminista: Thanks man! I use a combo of a custom airbrush, a hard round and a few custom textured brushes. Then make a new layer add 50% grey value and noise filter it. Then set the layer to overlay and drop it to 10 - 25% opacity. Luvisi style. I spend 1 hour on these movie still studies. The figure studies vary from 30 seconds to 20 minutes for the shaded one.
lowroller: Thank you
kikindaface: Thanks! I will
Momucat: Thank you, your words are too kind.
