    nOkas SKETCHBOOK!

    hi,

    Im a 17 years old artist from germany i just post some sketches here,
    i try to update this sketchbook weekly

    Your studies are very detailed and professional looking. I like the birds a lot and I think you are off to a great start. Keep going and posting and never stop studying.

    Nice comicy eyes, the eyeball is coming out a lot though.
    Some tips/crits regarding your portrait.
    Never forget bouncing light, it adds so much more depth to the piece and do not depend on lines when drawing a face. shaded areas describe the face so much better. Especially the nose bugs me.
    I also don't really like the hair. Try drawing it in blocks and not so much in lines. It will read better and make it easier for you to place highlights.
    Also do not forget to define the teeth, do not make teh gums too dark, or she'll look creepy, but do not leave it white.
