    Emulating this look

Which tools in Painter would achieve these sorts of textures, particularly the face, the hair, the eyes, and the various surrounding details?

I understand the skin has a pastel look, but I am wondring which brush or settings under pastel or oil pastel is best for skin and texture.

Digital watercolors mostly and opaque brushes. I don't go by the default brushes since I don't like them.

I ran into this tutorial on 3d Total. May be of some use since it's Painter related: http://www.3dtotal.com/team/Tutorial...y_world_01.asp
