marcocasalvieri. hola, strambo il video ò_ò

not much to post today, been working on the chow, but it's slow going
i've tried making a little color study of a candle, those things burn way too fast and i've discovered that trying to render a light source is quite harded then i would have thought

    hey G@m!

great to see you are still working really hard, and WOW.

So much progression in your work since my last visit! Looks like you really put a lot of effort into this and both your drawing and paintings have progressed a lot.
Really loved the Personal gremlin and jesus/thor cover, as well as the zombie mickey mouse- excellent drawing, composition and painting!

    keep at it!

Those still life/real life drawings look very good. Done with only the hard round with no pressure at all, no?
It's interesting how good they look, and what right variation without any of that blending stuff, just hard edges everywhere.
great job with those, and great overall style you have. Keep getting better, good luck!

The solid brush strokes on those still lifes are pure eye candy. Keep 'em coming !

    theGnoll: grazie D:
blackdelphin: mmm i use the chalk brush shape, instead of round, and lately i've been trying to use a soft round brush to get those effects that are almost impossible / too time consuming to get with and hard edged brush without opacity. They are a whole ton of fun to do, getting the colors right its a pain in the ass but i think its worth it, using opacity and mixing colors doesn't teach as much imo.
    ozark: i'll do o_o

clouds, i hate them, but i want to learn how to paint them effectively anyway , this week chow early wip, last week chow with fix in progress and a blocky hatsune miku cosplayer.

Well, you're a busy guy. I guess clouds are hard to get right in all dimensions. I've been messing around with creating smoke in 3D. Seeing all this I think I should do some studies myself to understand them better. The dude with the flaming dagger looks cool, finish it, please!

almost done with the cloud dude, i'm quite happy with his mane, but i haven't slept yet so that may be why i kind of like it, i guess i'll find out tomorrow
