help! I did this last night and now have no idea what to do with it. I originally just wanted it to be an environment, but I know it is no where close to being completed. I was thinking adding some sort of creature to the landscape. any suggestions??

    Cool the four elements

this is my brand new piece, just finished. It is my interpretation of the four elements, earth wind fire and water, as fairies. Done anime style, my favorite!

    hi there!
You have a great style in your artworks
I like the third watercolor picture and the mushroom painting a lot.
Lovely colors and very unique style, like I said.
Your illustration would suit perfectly to a childrenbook.
Maybe you would like to study anatomy a bit?
It would help your last illustration a lot.

    greetings
    amartist

    Cool imagination .

Currently your values in your paintings have a very strange harmony, i think that it might be an idea to go and start painting just using greyscale to try and increase your knowledge of values. Other than that keep up the anatomy practice .

Nice update, your drawings are really lovely and full of emotions.
Would like to see the new one in watercolors.
And you should also work a bit on your anatomy skills, it would help your illustrations a lot.

    Wink thankds!

Thanks for all the insight. I also posted the elements on the critique center and got really great feedback as well. I think i will take the advice to heart and do a slight rework of the elements. in the mean while....here is a sketch of something new, individual illustration of "air" from the elements.

    hi
you've got a dynamic and very flowing style going on there, the lines are very unique, the watercolors have a fantastic mood and I like the way you draw the faces.
You could improve by constructing the characters a bit better - air faeries right hand is a bit wonky for example, some basic construction could help.
I just took a break to post this.
But sometimes I also draw stuff

    Hi there,

Nice sketchbook. I like your fresh colours most of your subjects.
But I have to say I prefer your watercolours over your digital paintings. They seem a lot more real and convey more. That does not mean you should quit digitals, just work more on them especially on your rendering.
The last one seems to have quite a few problems, especially anatomy-wise. The right hand and the feet of the flying/falling girls and her eyes are not the same. Try adding also a sense of motion to your pictures.

    Cheers mate

    Smile elements: earth

Just posted this on critique center. This is my second piece, earth, in my elements theme. I somehow managed to fit this into my insane schedule, and have like 10 hours of homework to shuffle through this week because of it!

I am proud of the theme i have going here, but still am having so much difficulty getting smooth lines from my wacom.

I like the last one more and more. It is very coloured and in your face, but it kind of works with the subject, kids having fun, more than in the elemental pieces for me. I especially like the background.
Still I think you should work on anatomy and try to understand the human form better.
