Very nice, your anatomy seems spot-on, and your shading is fantastic!

    Nice studies, solid rendering.
You're doing a bit of vertical stretching on the majority of these pieces.
This distortion might be remedied if you draw on a angled surface, such as a drafting table, rather than flat surface such as a desk.
Keep up the solid effort, it's great.

res01ve Yeah I have a drawing board that has pop out legs (no room for a table). I'm always trying to raise it higher or something.

epicnoses My prof always fusses at me about my values. I'm pretty hard-headed.

    pijus Thanks for the welcome.

Klandestineone, hey great anatomy studies! I really like your rendering on the foot and hand bones and muscles.

On the figure sketches you've put in a lot of detail for the figure except the head. I'd encourage not to be afraid of the head and leave detail out. Tackle on the things you are uncertain as well if this is the case, it'll just make you better

    Good stuff, keep posting more!

I really like that third picture, the female body. The shading is gorgeous but her left leg looks a bit odd (I might be wrong about that, though )

Nice anatomy studies here. Did u find an immediate improvement in skill after each study or do u think the improvement is commulative over a period of time? Just asking because im about to concentrate on anatomy studies as well. keep posting. Your work looks good.

    An update...

Yeah I've been drawing, but I'm lazy. So I haven't posted anything in months. These are just some character designs I've been working on-some with background stories, some without. Don't even ask about color. I'm still working on it.

More random updates. I've been studying the Digital Character Painting CS3 book by Don Seegmiller. I recommend it to anyone. Things are finally starting to click for me, especially in regards to digital painting. Also some Jack Hamm studies thrown into the mix.

Incredible work. You show a very solid understanding of anatomy, and you seem to be improving on all your weaknesses and a very fast rate. Very inspiring, keep it up.

Uh, yeah, so I've come back to CA. Hi!

So yeah, today, I did a couple of studies from the movie "The Seventh Seal." It was made by Ingmar Bergman and I think that's it's one of his best films. Death happens to be my favorite character.

How the heck do you paint pebbles and crap? So irritating.

Figure and landscape studies. My buddy Smoke suggested that I should do 10 min studies on environments to understand them a bit more. I fear landscapes.....

Update. I think I'm ready to move on from the 10 min landscape studies. Time to step up my game a bit.
