    raging sea

Sooo after a pretty long time of practicing I've finished something I'm quite fond of again. I'd really like to hear some critique for this as I really want to improve more. Just for your information; this picture took me around 3 hours of total work in Photoshop.

    Thank you for your time!

The dragons looks a little too flat for me. A very nice piece btw.

this is extremely cool... I love the palette you chose, and the waves in the background are so well done!

that's just one thing... the lightning bolt right now is so bright that it keeps attracting my attention--- my eyes keep running at it, especially at the point in which it overlaps the serpent's tail. perhaps adding some reflected light from the right could help define the serpent's head more and bring more focus to it

Very engaging piece of artwork. I would like to see an increase in contrast, and add more highlights so that the image of the sea creature appears more 3D. There are strong highlights on both sides of the tail outlining the creature, this is causing it to look flat. Place the highlights only where light would fall naturally. The sea is nicely done, I like the use of color on the water. Really nice!
