Fantastic art bro, couple of things I would suggest fixing on the commission.
Her head and body directions are contradicting each other, are you building a constructed skeleton with ovals and cylinders to see where each part of the body goes? if you nail the construction at the beginning the rest should be a breeze. Michael Hamptons book figure drawing he explains there very well how to construct your figure so it will look solid, excellent book.

Another thing is the angle which would affect how much of her jaw we would see from underneath, you painted the eyes and the nose in the right angle but the chin and jaw are from straight angle.

Keep going bro as I said on DA you are blowing my mind with your works lately.

Wow, moving to Spain!? Like for good or what? =)

Re the Iphone girl =) Mmm, her left arm, would maybe suggest a bit of hollow between the arms there. Right arm feels a bit stiff maybe.. I quite like her face, think she's pretty good in that department =) The little circlet could maybe be placed slightly different, not sure about it tbh. In general tho, it's looking fantastic! =) Sweet work! =) Keep up the awesome! =)

    SCHWEET! ^^^^

That 5 rings enviro has sooo much atmosphere! I'm digging it!

The morning/afternoon/evening sketches fit those times of day for me...epsecially now that it's beginning to cool off here in the oven I call home!!

All are really perfect color wise and mood!

I'd love to see you take all of them to the next level!

The atmosphere is lovely. The only thing I can think of is the folds of her skirt are too straight. I feel like they would follow the curve of her thighs a bit more... I'm not sure though. It's a great piece.

The horse's "shoulders" and "chest" seem narrow. Colors are better and values are better. Keep going

ah man i love your enviros, the colors have life to it and you capture great atmosphere in them, really loove the floating rocks one from post #787 , and the last update has a really nice magical mood.
i agree that the folds could be following the curve more, but other than that i wanna see it finished soon!

Your latest work looks very good. I really like the magical atmosphere and the colors are very good. Now for some criticism:

In addition to the dress as many already have pointed out, the front of the horse feels wrong somehow. The first thing I noticed was the front legs. I think it looks as if they sit too close to each other, unlike the angle of the horse. They almoste look like human legs in some weird way. I also think that another motion would look better. Now it looks a bit (just a little bit!) like this movement:

    http://www.awionline.org/ht/a/GetImageAction/i/26166

But I think something like this would be better:
    http://www.askdegas.com/images/5141a.jpg

And maybe some bigger muscles on the upper legs of the horse, (the 19-21 area in the picture below) It looks a bit flat at the moment.
    http://www.intuitivetouchmassage.com...se-muscles.gif

I'm no pro by any means, and I do not know much about horse anatomy, but maybe my post is helpful in some way. Keep up the great work man!

    Great environments!
The one with the floating rocks is really good, it has awesome colors and values
I like how the piece of the woman riding the horse is turning out. I also think that the horse looks a bit narrow lke someone mentioned.
    Keep it up!

hey alex! The latest piece is absolutely awesome. Im not sure which version i prefer , the more desaturated one or the latest , they both work brilliantly.
Only small crit i can give you is that her sword on her back looks a bit flat and her hands could use slightly more detail. The horse improved tons , maybe it could be a bit bigger? but yeah , great piece man

Big improvement in the update. The lower legs of the horse still look a little thin to be honest. I looked at some ref, but I could be wrong. Keep going, because it's looking absolutely fantastic so far.

The way the light is hitting her dress doesn't match up with how it's hitting her face or head gear. I take it's mainly coming from above.
