That mage, despite very nice lighting, has some serious anatomy flaws (how can a torso turn like that without the spine being broken? Also, the upper body is way bigger than lower, if you were trying to do foreshortening, the perspective is wrong. I really like the concept, design and all but the anatomy is really getting in the way.

A lot of the faces are getting pretty flat. Try to really focus on the forms and planes of the head and how the light source would really interact with them to get something more convincing.

edit: to be more specific, I think the main area of concern is when you draw heads in 3/4 perspective. When you draw them, there appears to be no real demarcation between the cheek/brow ridge and the side of the face (e.g. the left eye/corner of the mouth/cheek will kind've 'smear' into the side of the head), when in fact, those forms are almost perpendicular to each other. God its hard to convey what I mean but hopefully you can decipher this.

But these scribbles are not crappy! stuff is looking good!

Goog- I get what you're saying. Still trying to get the hang of this digital thing. Will keep at it. thanks

WIP it's an afterlife thing. long story short... after a dark god saw the evil he caused the world he became the embodiment of the underworld and he absorbs souls and shares in their suffering as penance.

I love the idea of taking a past piece of work and re-working it when you've progressed. The difference is always palpable and that last piece from 2006 shows that, so good work

Great work man, my favorite are those sequentials. Solid. Had no trouble reading them and the umbrellas are kick ass.

I'm so jealous of your pencil work man. A little ways up, the sketches of the ladies and the orcs and ogres, totally kick ass.
