    Hi Kevin,
You have a nice consistency to your work and your progress so far. I can see the range in your education at AAU - clothed figure, head and hands, Zhaoming Wu and Henry Yan. You're exposure there will no doubt aid you in your path. When I was there I felt a bit confused from all the approaches and different types of figure drawing. I'm glad now that I have the background - I can push different aspects of the figure and use things from Clothed Figure, or Barbara's classes that were so unique to AAU. Glenn helped me focus and edit out to achieve a drawing that was styled well - and that was eventually mine, though I copied and copied a lot while I was there. The Riley method is taught, though it isn't adhered to. Each pose offers up a new challenge in how to solve it - like a puzzle.

For me - I was able to gain quite a bit of skill level with Glenn because I had so much info already from people like Henry and Zhaoming. Glenn has the ability to make it VERY clear how to break down and simplify the figure using a number of blended methods. If you can spend the summer with him, you'll no doubt be able to make some major skill level jumps. Especially in constructing the head - which will affect your painting.

Before I studied with Glenn I could not for the life of me paint the figure, and that was less than 2 years ago. If you can't draw it - you for sure can't paint it.

While I was there I felt a real connection to the past and the lineage of figure drawing. Very humbling experience.

Sorry for rambling on, hope this helps.

    Keep working hard

    -Hope

    Glenn Orbik

Glenn teaches 2 Tuesday classes back to back. I believe they're 2-5 & 7-10. If you enroll in 3 classes you get the 4th free (that's what they offered in 2007). Ryan Wurmser and Tony Pro teach painting on Wed or Thurs I think, the schedule may change. Always confirm the schedule! Stick with them and you'll do great. Mark Schwartz is great too, he studies with Glenn and teaches the Monday and Saturday class and workshop.
