Loved your Marauder, voted for it (but before the reset).

I really like the clothes/armour & the calm and patient (yet poweful) dog.

the only nitpick I think for me would be the gun and the hand by it (his right hand) - While the rest of the piece feels like a slightly grainy (post-apoc) photo and very real these two parts kind of break that for me as the hand feels a bit flat and the gun I dunno ~

EDIT: & I have to say that I'm in awe with how clean and spotless your work feels - here I have two small gripes with your piece and then the rest feels as solid as it can be, all while I have a long long list for my own with issues that I should fix; from straight perspective errors (the shoulder holster has perspective to shame a child with) to bad rendering, muddy design and so on -

I was happy you removed the wings, but ~ I just prefer wingless characters I think.

And...heh ok..I start pushing yourself since 2008(draw a lot, try to grow every day), you can find this stuff in my past SB's.
But in 2006-2007 I drew sometimes..this stuff!

Cool to see the old with the new - did something similar over at the DSG but sadly I don't have stuff from before 2006 when I first started to train ~ wish I had my stuff from 93-2004 when I painted something perhaps once every 2 years :&.

Nice step by step for the Chow Marauder ~ and god the teeth of the Orc ~ I feel sad for him and everything, especially since it looks like he likes to eat.

You should re-paint a couple of those old pieces. Just to see what they would look like with your current skill level.

I think midknight523s idea sounds pretty cool, repainting them. Anyway pretty amazing improvement and yet another proof that practise and patience is all you need. And discipline I guess.
