orz ... share some stamina with me
you make really great stuff
never stop to draw, keep it up ^^
more faces dude !! you have to master the most tricky thing !! keep it up ( and btw, i also love jana and algenpfleger's art, but doing reproduction of their painting is a bit early isn't it ! you should first get the basics of values, because it's still a weakness for you ! also it'll give you a wrong idea of your level, because if you're able to reproduce their paintig, you'll feel as good as them, but you did it from observation, while they did it from imagination, which is really different ! but anyway, keep it up dude !
thx alot guys,
kikindaface: well, .. doing studies from paintings, drawings is something i find very useful, as if you don't do them mindlessly, you'll learn a lot in terms of why the artist did certain things... they are studies not reproductions ..![]()
You are doing great man! so much work and persistance here, What I like most about your works are the monsters and poses, What I like less is the lack of life and flow in your paintings, all is too soft, maybe it´s just my personal taste.
see ya and fun study time.

Hey Noomwolf, thx very much and also for the honest critique. And you're right, i also dislike the lack of flow and style i have when painting... haven't found a way to conquer it yet though..
oh, almost forgot, in terms of flow .. very stiff, very clean.. but had to finish this one, sketch & idea was done probably at the time of the joker painting..

Some great studies but I notice a lack of diversity in the types of people you draw--I'd suggest looking into changing that.
definetly.. stereotypes all around .. but thx will keep an eye on that.![]()
3d freelance work finished, time to study.
first 2, photo studies. third one ecorche drawings finding construction of muscles in overpaint of photos. found this very helpful, after reading and watching lots of tutorials again to deepen and rehearse my knowledge.

I love how you treat faces, the sketches in #128 are amazing
thx a lot![]()
one more for today,
repeating what i learned from the overpaints and lessons and constructing on my own.

Intentional line work is a rarity these days. Carry on.
yesterday upper arm, today lower arm
combined with everything in a torso bust, from imagination..
lot's of errors in construction but leave it as it is aber 5h.

Nice idea in post 136 with the paint over to understand the muscles and sweet job on the pose, render and understanding of muscles in the above sculpt. I wish I had a 3D printer to print out sculptures like that!
just to give that muscles study from yesterday, a more finished scultpural look
