WOW, your work is, what I would define as creativity!
I followed your sketchbook for some time now and i´m allways impressed how you are able to develop new styles and themes.
I´m not really educated in art so I can´t give you any advice, but I also guess you can´t do something wrong.
I will visit your sketchbook more often I guess, as a source of inspiration.
    Keep on posting!

shambok Thanks. I try to differentiate myslef form all the other talented artists on this site with my techniques perhaps. Not sure if its intentional or not.

    Arne Meyer Vielen Dank!

seagulls Thank you. The portfolio you sent in should basically represent you as an artist. You can either see it as a good thing that they give you the freedeom with your portfolio, but if you are strating out you are pretty much left to yourself and need to figure out what to do by yourself.

This is the portfolio I sent in. It is the first of five portfolios I am going to send out.

Two more mask-morphs. There is still one german mask missing. I'm gonna do that soon.

    Enjoy.

    Hey!

I've been loving the tribal mask transformations you've been doing recently, the African one is my my favorite of the bunch. Life drawings are looking really solid too, great proportions.

No real crits for now, it looks like your on a drawing streak!

Keep it up, i hope to see more mask-morphs soon c:

Hi there, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook.

Really creative stuff, nice work. I especially liked the faces transforming into the masks. I do think that your quick life drawings look a little bit flat though, I think it might help to throw in a cross contour here and there to show the form. I see the tone with the core shadows and that does help but I still think that the best way to show form is with a cross contour. Keep up the good work!

Fumble Thanks. Have you voted already?

Sir Cam Very good Idea. I am going to keep it in mind for the next time. Thank you!

Luckers Is it? Nice to hear that. I was kind of hoping I do convey something.

latigid Thanks. The one you like is a self-portrait. Muahahaha, you do not want to meet me in a dark alleyway!

I had this weird idea of making my dreams tangible and remember them as well, as I have been having quite a few weird one in the last few weeks.
Anyways here is what i came up with.

    THE DREAM CUBE

It consists of a six sides cube that I drew on with ink and pastels. The paper its made out of is dark brown, so I have the liberty to go either light or dark with my drawing.
This first dream is also a test. How do you like it? I was thinking of writing down my dreams in words on the inside of the cube. Anyways, expect a few more of these in the next week. They are also part of my University Portfolio.

    Cheers!

    More updates this evening.

Thanks a lot. Nice new Avatar by the way! And yes, watercolours are hard, but I think they really pay off. Especially in real life!

Some new things. I started a series on the story of Hagen and Ondine (actually plural, but I chose to depict only one nymph). The nymph is a study of a gorgeous John William Waterhouse picture. Waterhouse is definitely one of my main artistic idols. His colours and subjects really appeal to me.
A new Dream Cube which depicts a dream a friend of mine had about her grandmother lying in her deathbed. The return of the red hoods was unintentional, but I like it actually. I might bring them back for every dream. Some anatomy studies for good measure as well.

    Cheers guys,
    Enjoy!

Good anatomy studies! sometimes you use more lines than necessary (i fight with this aswell), but overall you've really improved. Keep at it

The nymph piece is also looking really promising.
