Faces are one of my weaknessesReally like how you did them up there! Especially the way you make the form of the eyes readable.

You got some sweet life drawings in here - something I should do a lot more of. I would definitely like to see you combining your substantial drawing skills with some imaginative stuff.
Ok, so there is this german bastard at my school who convinced me to start updating again. Which is a good thing, I think, as I have been slacking a lot lately. Which is the opposite of what I want to do with my life. Need to get batteries for my camera, for now you're gonna have to stare at a charcoal drawing from last trimester. My best one so far, but still nothing really. Better though.
Thanks dudes!
thats some incredible charcoaling. Or should i say charcooling ;3

All right, first of all, Go take a look at Fausts sb, it's intense. Second, this is ridiculous, but it's the best for now. This or nothing. Third, uploading here is annoying. Forth, Jussi Björling is The king. Fifth, I need to start kicking my ass more, and get more things done. Weak!
Second bunch.. quality wasn't that bad.

h.k - Dude don't get me started!
This is ridiculous but hey. Some drawings from sketchbook number two. Dudes, chicks and some tuscan landscapes.
And here's some stuff from sketchbook number 1. The usual deal, some from ref. some from imagination. Just trying to get the damn things stuck in the head of mine. My scanner is messing with me.
fuck, you make me wish I could draw!
Say, looks like you got your hands on a scanner again! woop~ Heh, anyway, not much on the crit front i'm afraid, i really dig all the studies you've been constantly working on do you go anywhere in particular to get your reference material? I also really like all the imagination work you've been doing, all the studies over the years have really beefed up your mental database. Your mental work has a very nice smooth calculated line-flow that seems to just ooze out of the pencil. Oh, i like your little landscapes here and there, i'd like to see more like that!!
Anyway, good stuff, always good yo see you posting , later today ima make the full 7-page journey through your sb again just to see how things have come. later amigo!
Great Anatomy work. Keep it up
~Faust~ - Man, you're to kind. I know you will beat my sorry ass once I'm back at the school
AustenFM - Yupp! Staying at my parents place with all the luxury that means - scanner, running water and a bed (and food)! Thanks man, for reference I have been using Dr. Paul Richers Artistic Anatomy, some nice plates and lots of information. The landscapes are fun, I'll probably do more of those when it stops raining..! Cool, I'll give the sb of yoours a closer look later today, took a quick one before and it's looking good for sure.
Thanks Rendermonk, I will
Quick oil, it's not a condom, it's something else, not sure what. Kinda fun
Some drawings done while watching 24
Yeah! You're beginning to put in more tonal stuff! Very nice, I know I like your lines most, but it's always good to push new boundaries. It's good to see you being sensitive with that information and the masses since I recall that being one of your weaknesses.
CRITTIME! sometimes the structure seems a bit of, espescially around the eyes. Very apparent with the chick in this one: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1311623558 (the middle one. Is it Jack Bauers daughter?), eyes not on the same line and the shadowshapyness destroys some of the form too. Funnily I LOVe the linedrawing above! It shows again what you are seemingly great at and what I still suck at. That said I don't think the smoothness and the strife for perfection or just being anal with them seems to destroy your creativity, meaning the design and dynamic of the scetch is lacking. You're drawing it dead, so it lacks life although it looks perfect. I think you should make some crap-drawings too, some drawings where there is jitter and space to breath so you learn to let loose in the ideation-process and tighten up shit afterwards.
You are badass!

~Faust~ - Whoa! Thanks for the massive crit, awesome. I agree about Kim Bauer, doing those drawings I quickly got into a mood where I stop thinking and just draw, which has its advantages I guess, but overall I need to think more. A lot of times I'm just drawing. I also agree about the dead-ness, alot of times I get stuck in a style that I think is too stylistic and cartoony. And the thing about tighten it up afterwars too, think I'm going to do more inked drawings so I can go crazy with the pencils first, then ink it and erase. Thanks again!
Not_Deadman - That better be a compliment!
Some drawings, had Berni Wrightson in mind whe doing the inks. Re-reading Hogarth.
