hey. I took a look at your other posts. why don't you transfer them over into this thread? I think it would help provide a better variety of content or w/e

I noticed that the placement of the eyes, particularly, on your other drawings were a bit skewed. might want to keep that in mind in future work.

other than that, looking like some solid studying man
Name's Todd. I'd encourage you to check out my sketchbook, but it's full of shit, natch.

always review you drawing and make sure that each part relates to the other parts of a drawing, it seems that you make one pass over the entire drawing, completing each section and then moving on

this causes each part of your drawing to seem detached from the other sections, making your sketches seem warped

when drawing try not to look at your paper, instead try and focus as much as you can on the subject, only sparingly at you paper.

then after a few minutes, put down you pencil and back away, lookat your drawing and analyze the sections that are skewed and need reworking

do this every few minutes until you are done

joe. thanks for the advice. i can see your point. i try to have fun while iam drawing. once i get bored with a drawing. i tend to try to finish it quick or i won,t finsh it at all. and as for stepping back. i really do that when i paint. but when i draw most of the time i do the whole sketch in one sitting. so if i think i messed up a drawing i most likely will redo the whole thing. if i have too. for now it all a leaning process. and i will take all advice to heart.

    thanks. larry

ps. i would like to see more of your sketch book work.
