Looking at that scene, I want to know more-- especially if she succeeds!

raminafshari : Thanks, he's Mondo Gecko...a character from the original ninja turtles cartoon and archie comics

Here's a couple of wips...I realised I haven't been posting many wips lately...a bit of Gears of War silliness and well, some Middle Earth silliness. Yay for friday!

On another note, I've been working on a game called PokerInvaders for iPhone and iPod touch. It launches on March 1, so help out a fellow artist and buy it! I guarantee you'll get at least $1 of entertainment from it! Here's a link to a gameplay video.
Seriously though, it was a good bit of fun to be involved in and I hope we get to make more in the future!

    Take it easy!

You do some awesome work sir. The graphics on Poker Invaders look great, but sadly I don't have an iThing, or I would front the dollar. Looks like a crazy fast game as well.

The expressions on the guys in cover in that last post are *the best*. Love it!

Thanks donalfall, much appreciated! Yeah...I didn't have an iThing until I began work on PI

Here's an update for Radagast and some promo material for Poker Invaders. It's free game of the day today on Openfeint, so go grab it!

I was away last week, visiting country New South Wales for a family wedding. Spent some time with my nephews drawing their favourite superheroes! I'll have to scan the pics they did for me...in the meantime, I finished Radagast...

Wow, I've been majorly neglecting my sketchbook... Hmmmm...what to post? I'm moving more towards sketching digitally these days. I always found scanning pages from my sketchbook a bit of a hassle. Here are some bits and pieces from the last couple of weeks.

Dude, love the TMNT stuff, I'm an old school fan myself. Radgast the Brown is awesome, no other word could do it justice. Great sketch book and thanks for sharing it.

Band Stars is Go...and I'm still alive!

Hey guys...thanks for the kind words! It's been a funny year for me...truth be told. Out there in the wilderness of freelance and contract work. I've started a blog on my website...www.garthcochrane.com however, it definitely feels like I'm talking to myself most of the time. I miss the interaction of forums and just hope to find the time to be more involved back here

I've been working the last nine months on a social game...BAND STARS...it's free to play, so I'd love to hear what you guys think.

I did a bunch of stuff including concepts, character design, character skins, GUI elements, 3d models and animation I really love being involved in every stage of art production...from concept to tinkering with code, so this was a great experience.

Here's some stuff, it's not much...I've got a bunch of concepts that I'll save fer later!

wow..what a journey. I just went through your sketchbook and it's so inspiring to see you grow throughout. I loved your endless sketches on the train, and your digital work and character work have just gotten so awesome! Fantastic!
