    Autodidacticism (updated august/11)

    Hey guys

My Name is Adrian I'm 19 probably know me from my first sb
    [edit] now 20...
    and..this is my secound SB
actually i wanted to start it 09 but I couldn't wait
I just thought it woud be a good opportunity to start of with a clean sleve and all cuz this is going to be about figure drawing and anatomy and colour theory and illumination rendering, traditional painting and all kinda stuff...
the reason why I'm doing this is cuz I just felt like I was going to fast forward with my digital images without thinking about really mastering the basics
so now i really plan to work by but off, I'm really gonna bust out tons and tons and tons of figure drawing and studies

hope I can count on you guys for some c&c

    so here we go!

lasst one is painted with acryl just a rough skin color sketch

Nice stuff man! Good to see that you're starting fresh for the new year! Plan to do the same thing myself. Nice figures and studies you got up there! I'll be keeping my eye on this one.
Edit: By the way...I was wondering if you put a time limit on yourself when you draw your figures.

    Polydrawer:Thanks!! man that's what it's all about!!

Jackpot anjr90: Yea I think that was a quite good thing to do cuz this would give me a good reason to really keep going since my sb is titled "It's all about practice" i'm kinda forcing my self until it gets secound nature.. uhm actually i don't set any time limits but I'd say 10minutes for each figure could also be 15

Nice work man! If your focus on this piece was lighting then it seems you nailed it pretty well! If you're concerned about details you might want to work on the hand a bit but besides that i love it!

Pencil seems to be your weak point, but your digital stuff is very good. I'd recommend honing your traditional skills a bit more though.

You're relying too much on outline. Try to capture form every now and then. Good luck!

Wow, Hygami those are some amazing studies. I wish I had your enthusiasm for drawing, you seem to churn these out like a machine!.

I'm very much interested in learning anatomy properly like you said in your first post so I'm looking forward to seeing your developement. If you don't mind writing a bit about techniques you discover or anything really, it would be eagerly read.

Absolutely awesome work, keep it up!
