    Great studies. Kevin Chen is amazing. I learned an incredible amount in his class. Stuff that will NEVER leave me.
    Kev Wueste does have some beautiful figures.
    Feet seem annoying at first until you get the proportions of them. If you think of it as a wedge, much easier to cut into it to shape into a foot. If you have access to K. Chen's demo's there should be notes attached to the drawings. Check those out. There is much in his simple explanations.

    To answer your question, I use charcoal pencils that I sharpen to a point. I practice on smooth newsprint. Charcoal allows you to paint with the pencil because the media is darker, flatter & ,I think, softer than graphite. Thanks for visiting my SB. Keep on drawing.

    Cool man, did you already try to draw on bigger paper then A4, you'll really have the chance to let your lines flow . You should try it .

    @AztcFireFlower: Thanks! i'll check out kchens demo's about feet asap and thanks for letting me in on what materials your using, much appreciated
    @drd: Thanks! and your welcome!
    @Lyno: I work on paper that is high like A4 and wide as A4 is high (if you know what i mean ...). Instead of squeezing in 3 figures on a page, i'll try and do the longer poses on one piece of paper each. Thanks for pointing this out! definitely going to try this out at life drawing tomorrow

    Fascinating

    The Bridgman stuff is good; looks like you also do a lot of life drawing... but peh. The models? You need some more athletic models from time to time

    Draw and draw more. I think the answer to your statement "Braintree learns how to draw (and paint)!" is yes!

    The Nazi officer character came out really nice. He seems like a person to really take command of an army. One comment is his feet seem bit long and exaggerated.

    I think all your gray scale studies have been paying off.

    Wow! I havent been by here in a while! Its looking REALLY good. Way to keep up on those life drawings. Those are working well, but I would try to use darker and lighter lines to help hold the gesture and weight of those pose. Digis are nice too- you are doing it all right! Keep it up man!

    Det ser rigtig godt ud! Især den tredje sidste tegning er helt i top og kan også godt lide de to tegninger af fæstningen. Og kan være jeg sent på den, men ham nazi officeren er rigtig nice lavet! Mange detaljer med uden at det virker kompliceret. Ellers har jeg ikke så meget at sige desværre! Keep it up.

    Nice job with the life sketches, and the boxing one is very well done.

    The first LOTR sketch is kind of bothering me because the shapes in the foreground are so much lighter than the gate in the middle ground. I'm sure that's how they were in the screen shot, but done in pencil like this, it makes the image seem really flat.
