Hey there Fumble! Thank you for visiting my sketch book

And i really like your grand canion and your landscapes! Also you draw your values well, and your figures from your last post seem to have their own personality.

Nice studies for 3min!! No wonder you considered my update lame

Hey man nice work, keep it up with the updates.. I will agree that the vagabond is great... BECAUSE I really dig the contrast of more "rendered" areas with graphic shapes. Good sense of balance.

Nice figures! Try blocking in the shadow shapes before getting into midtones and details...that could help you quite a bit.

Nice studies! I would recommend to stick with those life studies but to try and take more time in measuring proportions.
    Good stuff.

Hey CA been quite a long time since my last update ... again anyways things are still crazy at the university and it wont quiet down until mid-december where i have to hand in 3 projects.

@ kingkostas: yea do want to have some more imaginative stuff on my schedule

    @ BlackDelphin: hehe thanks

    @ dierat: ok i will!

@ KarylGilbertson: Thanks man - i kinda like the way he turned out as well

@ jackpot_anjr90: Thanks for the crit man, will definitely try that.

    @ towy: thanks

    @ krel: Thank you!

@ Chupacabra:actually i don't really measuring proportions at all which is really a huge weakness in my drawings, i will definitely start measuring when in doing longer poses.

    @ Benjie: i will

    ----
I got some different stuff i need to upload. First some stuff i did two weekends ago and some train sketches. Then inn the next post I'll upload drawings from a life drawing class. I know it is not that much, buuut i got the swine flu, or whatever it is called, last week and i had to sacrifice some art time in order to keep up with school .

    1) Portrait: At first i tried to make an exact selfportrait, buuut then it sorta became a portrait loosely based on my own face . I made some changes to my nose and mouth to make me look more badass ooh and ofc some warpaint
    2-6) train sketches
    7) crap color study

Damn, sorry to hear you got sick, glad you're better though. Still, for how busy you've been, you've had a huge improvement in your artwork. I'd like to know if you and your brother have any study habits you'd like to share? Haha

Good progress all around man, can't wait to see more.

Thanks for dropping by my SB. You have shown super improvement frmo pages to pages.. You should feel proud of yourself ! One thing I find interesting is that your digital is much better than your traditional. I notice you tend to pat your lines more during your life drawing. That is probably something you should take note of as it create the unconfident, scratchy lines that is plaguing your life drawing or drawing in general now.

Use either straight lines or sweeping curved lines to draft out the contours. This lines will be super light. Then with a darker line, plot out a more detailed contour. You dont have to draw out all the nuances and bumps on the body. You are trying to analyze the body, not copy it.

Keep it coming.. You are doing a great job here.
