Fine studies you are doing in here, really pushing yourself, so keep doing just that! I would love to see more digital stuff going down in here, but apart from that, I am truly pleased with what you are doing here

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my sketches, Bill! I'd like to return the kindness, but don't feel competent enough to comment on yours, since I prefer other moods and subjects, although your oil on paper paintings are very good I think. I hope you get your Dream Job soon, good luck with that man!

Hey bill thanks for the comment.

You have some fantastic stuff on here, the oils on paper are brillant, very Edward Hopper like, your animals have very clear form lines (something I lack) which I aspire to master!

Thanks for your comment. Nice stuff, don't underestimate the power of studies, you can only gain knowledge. The oils are pretty sweet. To me it looks like you are pretty careful when doing your sketches, don't be, try loosen up a bit.

Skoda Your SB is getting out of hand. Nasty stuff in there. As far as keeping up with mine I'll cry the "dayjob" blues on that but I hope this ones worth alook. Not aLiens though..

Nekro I it would do me some good to get into the studies and try to loosen up ... good comment, Thanks.

    Chris Thanks for stopping in!

GHill 'M still checkin' your book. Dig it.. really nice .. Thanks

Formal Hey, thanks for stoppin in, goodluck with the drawing.

Ethically Challenged Everyone's competant to offer an opinion, and thanks for the good wishes... same to you

lahlbeck Thank you, and I'll do what I can to get new stuff in here.

    Erter Thank you!

Matt Thanks for the positive mojo, as far as what's next I think we'll try to dial down the cute at least a little as well as add some variety to the portfolio. Thanks Man.

Ļęę Thank You. Maybe I shoulkd pay some more attention to design, but story and composition are usually more the interest. Thank You for commenting!

    Vlad Thanks!

Elf Thanks for the comment, I'll save up and buy that tablet when I get the chance. Thanks Man!

    FedDark Thanks!

D@aniel Thanks! still checking your SB, BTW, great stuff in there!

Zou Thank you for the comment, Much appreciated, and good luck with your drawing.

Brightdreamer Thank you for the comment!

[B]Solo[B] REALLY love your stuff, great skills, am checking your book all the time. Thanks for the comment.

Azekariel Thanks man, yeah, turtles and penguins are the easiest, uncomplicated shapes and usually slow moving models... y'know. Anyway, thanks for checking in.

Astro Hey, how are you? I need to stop in your book, hope all's well.

Anyway, this is inspired by the Sketchtravel project that's floating around between various members of the animation-art community among others. I'll need to adjust some spots if I want to paint it, and it's taken forever so far, but I think I'm learning some and pushing as well. Hope it's worth a look. Thanks all for looking in. Peace, -Bill

Hey, i just read your story in the lounge about working for honda, that sucks man. You have some nice stuff in here for having worked at honda for the past 6 years, it looks like you've been practicing the whole time. You've got a really unique style to your stuff, keep it up, it looks like you are well on your way to doing art professionally, if you havent landed anything yet.

Wow teh atmosphere in the last one is ace. I liek teh lines that follow the forms, a really nice style, esp for childrens illustration. Not sure how to understand the image though: Can the travellers see the front bunch of fawns?

I like the pencil textures you're using on those illustrations. You've also got some nice abstract shapes going, I tend to prefer when you keep things mostly flat, the one's that are going into more of a comic book style of composition don't work as nice.
The expression of the guy in the top left corner here is really great. I also like the rhythm of those yellow circles moving aways from his gaze, also the rhythm of those spines on the tail. I don't like the two blue guys so much, the foreshortening on the small guys hand disturbs the flatness of the rest of the picture, his fist doesn't fit with the energy of the rest of the picture, I don't understand the expression on the guy in the middle or why he seems to be dropping bits of leaves.http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1230670029
