    Ooohhh Beautiful photo study!!!

Man, you are getting even more stylized with each post (but even more amazing as well)!

Your work seems to be blossoming and I'm glad to see that you're getting the recognition that you deserve.
Congrats on the game and also that illustration above with the aliens in the elevator is hilarious.

Now that you've done a Guy Fawkes piece, you need to try a "V for Vendetta" movie still study for shits 'n giggles

Just keep doing what you're doing, I'm enjoying the ride...

The last piece with the trees changing colors is beautiful, man.

And the SP is well done and creative. Good colors there.

WUT?! Those watercolors are insane! They look like digital watercolor, but they are obviously traditional. Matt, your art is coming along beautifully!

The bottom one, I actually want to use as a background when you get done The vivid red thrown on that background really makes the girl POP! Sheesh Matt, I think this is the time for you, you're really shining.

    Plus I dig your style

    Keep on rockin' it hard!

Hey, mate. Just caught up with your updates, no complaints from me. Some great stuff as usual. The wee owl is adorable. You're bloody good with animals, you know and I'm really liking the one girl at the bridge too, reminds me of a glen not at all far from my home. Remember doing similar things as a kid myself all the time.

Oh! And gratz on getting to your 76th page, that's crazy but I'm definitely going to catch up with you too. Page number atleast, not skill. Aha.

Hi Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. Just been browsing yours there's a definite improvement going on.

You have some really nice pencil work. Keep up the environment studies, one of the ways you can practice that I personally find really helps is to desaturate the photos you are studying from and just concentrate on the values.

Then once you are sure the values are correct start adding colours seeing how they are effecting each other. You can can even start adding other colours to see what effect they'll have, changing the mood etc.

But definitely try focusing on the values first they are by far the most important aspect of a painting to get right colour is very easy to add to it afterwards. It will also make understanding the light, shadow, etc much easier if you take the colour out of the equation by desaturating.

you can also had a hue/saturation layer on (which Id advice to do all the time) and then just turn on and off every now and again to make sure the values are working.
Hope that advice helps Keep up the good work.

Hey mate, really cool stuff you got here I especially like the digital painting with the girl on the bridge, that has an awesome mood to it, and the watercolour pieces from the same post as well, even though the upper part of the tiger's head does look a bit weird I think. Cheers, keep it up

I seriously started to go through your SB and I did quite well but it still will have some time to do it in my own pace so I post already
I don't really know what to write, though, apart from I like your stuff a lot and I try to learn from them. I focus on figures nowadays, I try to break some wall, it's impossible I don't know enough to produce something decent soon... And I can say you have many nice figures in your SB. I can handle some anatomical flaws (there are some around page 40-50), gesture and sexy lines are there, I'm motivated. Studies, enviros, creative things, you seems to do stuff I like in general.
Oh and thanks for the Redemption Song from Joe Strummer, I love it
