Looking over the last 3 pages of yer sb inspires me to keep trying.

Hello folks, I’m BACK!
So I took a break from CA, not exactly a planned one, but whatever. Life took an unexpected turn, for better or worse, but now I feel it’s a good time to start up here again!
Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments and love, much appreciated! So… LtPlissken, teapo, Naidy, Jeremy Swan, wooden mango, TomDeVis, AustenFM, My57, Not_Deadman, vivawaite, Mr.Pryminista, hala, GweNdZ, SMILEFACE, AimBiZ, p sage, BlightedArt, Jephyr X and everyone else I forgot, THNK YOU!
So as usually I’ve been busy. Still studying Animation here in Auckland, and with any luck should graduate well at the end of the year. Worked on a book project with an amazing artist and friend Munro Te Whata (check out his stuff here http://munrotewhata.blogspot.com/ ) and I’ve done a few more Story Board contracts to keep busy.
Also extremely pleased to say that the developing team some friends and I put together has released its first little project! So far I’ve been in charge of all the art for these little games and apps, and it’s been great fun!
If you have an Android operating system on your phone, please go check out Box Killer, it’s free and a heap of fun to play!
Not got an android? Go to our website and try this game and more for free as well!
Also done a few more exhibitions, including the fundraiser “On The Wings Of Hope” here in Auckland, and had a table at Overload this year with Lucky (See his work here! http://pencilsandcoffee.blogspot.com/ )
So heres a traditional art dump for ya, digital on the way! (BTW still no mass uploader? You fucking kidding!)

Whoa, cool update. Lots of really cool stuff. I love the handling of the graphite on your studies (the fine texture lines & decorations as in this one... tell me it's a digi).
Cartoon charas are looking boss; liked the one in blue pencil (the turnarounds).
Congrats on the game stuff going well for you and your team. This is still SpartaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

WOW. Thanks for visiting my sketchbook because I can obviously learn a lot from you!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love love love the Princess Mononoke piece, amongst many others - your take on that character is so SLICK, I can't get over it. (Haven't had a chance to look at everything yet). But so there isn't anything on this last page that doesn't blow me away, I'm going to have to go through the rest of your book at my giddy leisure...

Hey amigo, glad to see another post from ya! Glad to see youve been busy since your last post. Watercolors are looking great ( i really need to venture into those myself ) and your portrait work is still some of my favorite stuff of yours. But i'm most impressed with your progress on your cartoony subjects! Those pencil and blueline headshots of the male character are top notch!
As for a minor crit, perhaps watch your jawlines on your more stylized works, they can be a bit harsh on your female characters especially, perhaps show a little bit of neck between the jaw and ear instead of having it connected with a full line. Hope thats somewhat helpful :B
Keep it up dude, you're doing great!
Cheers guys!

Decrepid character in the last post is mean as broHow've things been going for you?
The beard on the last character is great, if you can get a copy of Fantasy Cartooning by Ben Caldwell, he handles drapery and hair really really well and I think your rendition of it is similar enough to really benefit from looking at his work.![]()
