Your drawings are beautifully precise. Littered with clear understandable shapes that manage to be crisp without being sharp. This is an awesome sketchbook.

Ooh you chose that theme for this CHOW! Really nice start Matt
    It will be digital, no?

    And i like the x-ray portrait too;
And may i ask why intentionally lay off digitals?I hope you're not having any health problems!!

And i am updating today too!!
I am more determined now, and i start to care less if i can finish a piece at x time, as long as i draw. I even drew in the car today!! Or when i woke up, i drew a few skulls

Thank you Matt for your care once more.

Good idea to mix more traditional in the digital. It always seems to rejuvenate the art muse and solidify thoughts in your head.

Your pencils are rockin! I love those. Your new SP looks good perspective wise.

Those Bridgmans rule. His stuff is so instructive if you think about it while you're drawing it.

Anyway you slice it, you're kicking ass and taking names lately. For SPARTAAAAA!

Ooh i see, i see. Well i certainly can't wait to see your digitals again!! D
But i so love seeing your figures, your portraits and everything you do as well ahahahah!

I see you're doing quite a few self portraits lately!! That doesn't seem like you somehow, but i am glad you are doing them and you show them to us. The thicker outline in front of the face is interesting.

About your CHOW, what can i say? So far so good. I'm curious how it'll turn out, and the figures are confident as always. What i want to know though hmm..is..your bumskee figures..are they on his page? Because if i recall right, he had an issue with his pc and you can't see the images
That aside, seeing you draw bridgamn makes me want to draw them even more for some reason! ooh! and btw, how many times have you drawn these?

i tend not to draw a study twice because it seems so..plain, so not interesting and i feel like i would somehow..rush it>?

    Take care Matt

In a hurry or not, Matt still posted

And that CHOW is really starting to come out.
About the slightly photo-refed one, i think the angle of the face is different from the one of the body, especially when i see the angle of that right shoulder but anyways, nice study
