stomach - Finall concept

Hi,
my first WIP here. I had an idea - big creature eating victim (woman ) and how she is screaming in his stomach.
His tentacles begin behind stomach and catching victims then go throught mouth, stomach (like buttery) to end - second mouth with teeths.

first picture - sketch, scene with some ritual and eaten victim - another is "waiting".




second picture - put on some basic colors and for this concept I decided that I don`t use more complex scene




third picture - not finish yet, work on details (face, end of the legs ..) ,chracter inside stomach and thinking about color of stomach...

next progress I`ll post here

Ha, what a way to go.

I suggest making the joints and legs a little thicker, just to be a little more realistic. As I think he could get quite heavy.
Other than that, I think it looks great! Keep chugging!

I agree with Duman, and moreover, I think you should redesign its "feet". I don't see how it can balance otherwise. It's a solid concept otherwise

I really liked the pencil sketch. It gave the creature purpose and a reason to have its mouth open. It's scarier right before you are eaten, rather than after.

There should be some green reflection on the legs, since you have it reflecting on the floor.

The legs could also use more detail, they seem like stilts rather than legs. Maybe add veins or slime to them, which is what a stomach is covered in anyway.

I think a thicker, uniform tongue, would be more menacing. RIght now, It looks like its breathing green fire.

I think the comment about the tongue is right. Or just don't make them them so asymmetrical. A background could help make it look a little more gruesome, give it more story, per say. Is it just me, or is the left most leg not connected to anything?

Cool. Love the veins on the legs. Is the stomach filled with liquid or acid? Or is it like an inflatable pouch?

I design it like stomach full liquid, which u can breath lot of oxygen and some specific liquid, something like buttery with live victims :]

his move is correctly, i try with bones in 3dsmax and it`s working
move is similar like spider, but last legs is more tall. i haven`t here sketch from the front and front legs may be used like a weapon
