That's great. There's something about European cities at night, and you really capture it.

i agee with everyone. Great, brilliant, lovely.
Thanks everybody for your kind words, I guess I was feeling a bit homesick when doing it and that got reflected in the art.
Cheers.
Doesn't get much better than this.

Absolutely great! What did you use to color this?
You obviously love Madrid, and so do I now. Can I put myself in a letter and mail myself to your house for say... two weeks?
Hmm, my only crit would be that for some reason, the three foreground characters (that's, the couple and the bird with the hat, who is awesome by the way), seem to be "floating" just above the ground, or they've been super-imposed onto the background somehow.
I'm not sure how this happens, as the reflections on the glimmering floor are spot-on, I think that if you were to darken the areas on the floor where the shadows are (notice how next to the big guys left foot (on our right), the floor just below it is lighter, instead of shaded?), then they *might* feel more of a part of the image.
I have a lot of trouble with floating-syndrome too.So if anyone out there reads this and has some helpful feedback for both of us, then it'd be greatly appreciated.
Oh! And love the image, very uplifting and very vibrant.![]()
Thanks for your replys, guys, very much appreciated.
It's done from scratch in Photoshop.
You're probably right, BlightedArt; I intended to make it look "glassy" and probably took it too far. Thanks for your crits!
