I've decided to start a new sketchbook, which I will update daily rather than yearly. So here goes again.

skin tones and metal parts looks great. The other colors looks quite muddy unfortunatelly but overall it's a good character design.

the angel is great, but the wings don't feel part of the angel and they're not rendered enough. they sort of look like part of a tree in the background.
also, the composition is a bit too flat. this could be fixed by making her point towards the viewer, instead of to the right.

great painting anyway. like the elf.

Wicked man, thanks for sharing process on the demon/druid/bat girl. Hot girls on sportsbikes is a classic subject, gotta paint me some of those. Pleased to see a Sydney kid.

Very very nice start of your new SB man! The demon/dryad girl, the studies and the knight in post #19 are the best. Keep 'em coming man!

If you've time please check out my sketchbook and give me some critic/tips/anything.

EDIT: Is that the caterpillar from Alice in wonderland? I love that piece, great expression. Now finish it!

Cheers HP, as you can see the floodgates have opened and I'm updating again.

Some doodles, playing a bit with painter, mainly just random stuff.

plus some more head, only 1 head this time, wish I had time for more head.

you've got the kind of sketchbook that makes me want to run off and spend the next few hours drawing. very inspirational. kudos.
