    Environments - post apocalyptic

Wow, long time no post! I think it's been well over a year.......and some things have developed! Just a couple of environments at the moment for a game based in London. This was a student developed game which ended mid 2008, but I chose to keep concepting along the same theme later in the year in order to complete turn over final uni projects. Check out my sketch book thread (Stu Austin) to see other environmental stuff, with themes carried over from these. More soon I hope!

It lacks the perspective knowledge and color harmony, you need to match the white balance when you are using the images as textures, that's not good for any one starting at any thing, you need to adjust your visual mind to use the images in a composition to fit them well.
Visit --->Go for every single post in this thread; its all about he perspective and mood development.

Stay around and do lot of live/life studies. It may seems harsh but trust me i am showing you the side which is missing.

there are other threads visit every stick post in it!

learn to paint it first, understand how everything works and why it works... after that you could start thinking about using textures or photos in your work.. right now those photo-inputs aren't working very well, and they are giving you some perspective problems just to start off with.
