That's some heavy CG.
Face capture and animation technology seems to have come a long way recently. I also like this vid:
This one is done with the motion capture spots on the face, so it cant pick up things like eye or tongue movement, but its still pretty cool.
Late thanks for the vid Chriskot, nice one!
Just thought i'd bump with this post i read yesterday from James Gurney on Ron Fedkiw's 3D research.
I found Fedkiw's site really cool (the pics are all linked to AVI 3D animations, they're not just pictures).
Well worth a watch imo. ^^
Wow. That's plain awesome and creepy.
I was hoping the eye pupil to roll do a 360.

Thank you S.M! I stumbled across Fedkiw's site a while ago when I was looking for some in-depth info on Blender's Fluid simulation features and I just couldn't find it again. The fire and mixing fluid animations are particularly interesting.
Wow, those are so cool!! O_O Makes me want to see more of that stuff!
Looks good for CG but still falls into uncanny valley. Needs HDR lighting or something to help it blend with the background a bit more.
