he danke ihr beiden.. freut mich das mein zeug doch so gut ankommt und auch sogar eine steigerung zusehn ist und ich tatsächlich fünf sterne bekommen habe freu freu .. danke an alle !!!!

okay, i think this will be very hard for me but i´ll try to explain in the best way i can. this is a little airbrush tutorial. it´s a pitty that i got the idea to late and the half picture was done.. so i will explain it from where i´ve done the first shot..
pic 1: that was my sketch for the illustration that i´ll do with my airbrush.
pic 2: here are some of my working stuff.. i work with mask´s and transparent papers. also i use pencils, rubberpencils, clayrubbers, and sometimes with some watercolors.
pic 3: so thats the picture. it just miss the branch and the little alien-creature. the strukture on the egg is done with my rubberpencil and painted with a small brush. i masked the ground around the branch with my sticking foil.
pic 4: here you see how i use the pencilrubber (i hope thats the right word for)
    pic 5: my finished branch.
pic 6: thats the way i had done the eyes of the alien. again a mask.
pic 7: here you see how it looks without the mask
pic 8: so that was the ready face of this little aliencreature.. the work was so much fun that i forgot to make shot´s of the way i worked.
pic 9: thats the ready one.. will upload a bigger and better picture of it next time..

i hope someone could understand what the fuck i´m tryed to told you here.. and i hope it could help someone who want´s to work with the airbrush

    nettle-mountain: great you enjoy it
Chermilla: this airbrush-stuff is for my artschool. airbrush is a reallly great working tool but i like it most when i use it in mixed media.. like painting with normal brushes and acrylic colores and then using the airbrush.. but i will show everything i working on so it could be there is some airbrush stuff within.

so here is again some digital stuff.. my final creature-cyborg-something:

That airbrush piece must have taken a long time? thanks a lot for showing some of the WIP pictures, neat to see some tools. At what point did you mask out the alien itself? it suddenly went white, so perhaps it was covered up while you did the background?

On your digital stuff I find a bit too much vibrant contrast (too many highlights, or not a clear light source with cast shadows). Be careful not to make overly noisy textures as too much can be unplesant - looking at the character in post 97. Good contrast but the lighting and textures could be more effective. See you!

I love the colors in this last sketch! All the swirls and geometric shapes are a lot of fun, too. The blue eyebrows look a little out of place, though, especially near the light/shadow edge in the middle of the picture.

Jakers: jeah, i got so much fun to do the alien that i forgot to make some fotos to comment. i covered everything while i brushing a area. when you covering with maskes there is no necessety in witch order you are working. you can do the background at last when you want to.
And thanks a lot for your crits to my digital work. i will notice it

    Cacodaemonia
: jeah the eyebrowe is really a bit out of place.. i don´t notice it when i worked on.

    Redfrog: thanks

so here is the final creature that i´ve done for the challenge but it was to free interpreted for a giant canopy grazer. but i also got problems with the translation. nobody could say me right what this creature could be and the dictionory just made me more question marks over my head. ( i learned english by musik like dr.dre and this stuff )

Joey-b: when i buy next time a new sketchbook ( in real life ) i will scan some of my sketches and scribbels.. i had so much at the first page but i lost the links from photobucket.com ( i hate this side )

    flamable: thanks.. i hope so

AlexTooth: thx too.. lot of mor comes next time

so here is my sketch for the new cow-challenge.. it have to be a collossos from hell.. i first sketching around to find a horribla form.. in the second one i found one and i´ve got a little storry for that too. it´s like that; after the fight between vampire´s and werewolfes there were a battlefield of millions of damned creatures. then from the ground of the hell there came a demon to absorb all the damned souls.. okay i think it´s a bit kitschy (is that word right for that?) and i was very inspired by the third underworld movie.. .. ..
