lovely progress sid! Good work here with the portrait and still life! And the bone whistle corpsman freaking awesome!
Awesome work, man! All of the images are creepy, I love it.
Yogesh and Shadowstalker, thanks a lot!
Here's some recent work. A personal painting that I just finished, some freelance pieces, and a portrait I did for livestream.
It's been a while since I updated this thing...

Damn, dude. These are seriously sick!
Only comment I would make is on the painting of the guy shooting the gun (primarily red). The foreshortening and/or the perspective is making something in the proportions look off. His extended arm, his waist, and the other arm just look... off (for lack of a better word). Just an observation.
Looking good, though, man. Thanks for sharing!
Great work, love everything in this sketchbook! Subscribed!

I love that "Rest" piece. Great contrast in characters, and I love the secluded feeling of the environment.
Really beautiful work, Subbed![]()

Beautiful work!! Really loving all your recent stuff! Keep it up!![]()
Thanks a lot, everyone! Really appreciate the comments. Shadow Stalker, you're right about the proportions and foreshortening in the red piece... definitely not one of my best. Will keep an eye on that next time!
Here's a self portrait. Haven't used charcoal in too long and was aching to get back to it.
nice works, dude.
I really like the cuban gangster piece. It's really well put together. with the green, blue and skin tones.
Thnx for sharing.

the improvement! the improvement!
amazing work.If I may ask,do you work from 100% mind on your illustrations?
Thanks, guys!
vetega: I work from imagination as far as possible, especially in the sketch stage, but at a certain point will almost always use some kind of reference to fill in what I don't know, or to correct mistakes. My memory's not completely reliable yet.
Here's some new work.

A fairly large update.
Hi Sid, what a great update and what a great range of concepts. I think you have some really good ideas and it is hard to crit and pick favourites. I think for me my favourite would have to be the women's head in the med chamber. The weakest piece seems to be the lady sat on the bed in front on the guy she has just shot. Her pose seems very stiff and i don't feel the composition is so strong on this one. I do love the humour in the last piece though and the change up in technique. Hope my comments help in some small well as it is all great stuff to me, thanks for sharing.![]()
I love rest out of all of them

A creative artist works on his next composition because he is not satisfied with his previous one. When he loses a critical attitude toward his own work, he ceases to be an artist. - Dmitri Shostakovich
Firstly, thanks a lot for the responses, everyone! Really sorry I haven't replied at all, between the site being down and not getting email notifications I didn't even know anyone had dropped it. Hopefully with things moving again I'll be updating this more in the future! Here's some work from the last few months, some oil and some digital.
