@Fumble: hehe yeah well alot of my stuff is inspired by algen though i try to develop my own style.
okay this batch is a bit boring.. only studies nothing special
some pencil studies. arms from life..
and movie still´s
A really quick still tried to get below 10 min, but the result is.. not my best
Nice pencils in previous update, but what I really like is movie stills! You're nailing ref.work, just don't forget to carry out knowledge, and apply it to imaginative work.
Looks like you're learning alot from the stills. love your color style!
Such nice colors. I think in you latest update that you should add even more depth. Make the foreground (the heads, helmets) pop a bit more. As always, I just loove your studies.
Great colors, but to be honest - I don't understand proportions. I mean girl in slave stocks - what is behind her? People in foreground look small comparing to her.
Hey man you've got some really nice studies in here. I've just started doing movie still as well. You can find so much better reference material through films than searching images on the internet. That last image is cool, but I think you could make it even better by giving the girl an expression on her face, even just a subtle one. Something to allow the viewer to sympathize with the character easier. It looks like you were going for the 'accepted defeat' look, but at first it seemed like she was unconscious or maybe already dead. Even having her staring at the soldiers that are about to execute her might work well, giving her a sense of defiance until the end. Of course this is really an opinion thing so take it how you want. Your rendering technique on the face and hands of her character is looking great however.
Keep going man!
looking great dude
think one thing that could really push your peices is getting a good balence between hard and soft edges
other then that keep up the hard work
looking forward to seeing more
keep burning those pencils and wacom nibs
sketchbook updated October 6th
@Greywoods: Thanks man I never actually intended to finish that one but from all the crit´s and comment´s i gues i better give it a try
@Seraph Fawkes: thaks man, and you´re right i am going to make some changes to the image now and im thinking about making some people closer to the camera witch will make the overall image look deeper
@Jasper_: Thanks alot man. Yeah You are right about the expression she seems... i dunno honestly:/.
Doing movie still´s are awsome I learned alot about how to make moods with atmosphere
@OmertA: Thanks man I know what you mean about the edges and im working on that

Oh man those fetuses are awesome. Kinda gross, but still very awesome.
Good, then it will be balanced well. Cool embrios by the way.
Oh hey, I like the moviestills!
Watch the highlight on the babies there, it almost looks a bit artificial. Did you use colordodge? Keep in mind what kind of surface the human skin has. It could have some strong highlights like that if it was wet but even then I think it'd be a bit too strong.
It kinda works on the heads though, cause it looks like it's lit from within. But not so much on the stomachs.
Keep pumping out stuff man!
And thanks for checking by my SB
Wow, your colours're so amazing, I love them
... start to learn ...
What!? I'm on the last page already!!? I want to see mooore!!
Really great job so far!
I really like all those still life you have been doing,
particularly the ones with a bit of more detailed lighting effect like this one or this one
Your landscapes are getting better and better also!
Love the japanese lantern path from here
That skin tone study has some nice rendering and tones.
You could try out something more extreme, more light sources or more colours perhaps.
Find a new challenge!

@Vatsel: thanks man i´ll look out fot that in the future
@LeoGr: thanks alot

cool) It would be great to see more details
I've still have a bad habit to wipe off the edges so they looks unshaped.
The fetuses and this last painting look really great. Your textures and colors and getting so good
Hey man this last illustration became great!
My only suggestion: I´d try to integrate more the face with the heat of the image; you achieved a good tone in her left hand, but the face lightening seems to correspond to a colder lightsource.
The other elements looks really nice, love the reflections in the helmet and the houses in the background. And this studies are cool, quick and very effective.
keep working like this man!
That latest illustration is awesome, I like all these purplish tones you use in skin, it seems to really work. good image! more pencils!
-Sketchbook - Comment and crit for a cookie.
Nice face rendering and you've catched mood pretty good. However I still think, that her had should a little bit smaller and pushed toward crowd, to show a glimpse of her neck (because right now I can't feel that her neck is in stocks). Also I believe that we should be able to see some of her body, even though mostly she's behind stocks.
Anyway - great rendering - keep pushing yourself forward, man.
Thanks everyone and sorry for the absence
Soooo im back with some images after a looooong break
