    I entered the comiccon challange
I'm aiming for a 20years old magneto kid, I gonna situate him in the 50s.
For the helmet I was thinking to do a helmet smashed tot pieces that are held together by his powers. Ore floating pieces of metal riped from the ground, floating around is head, making his helmet.

    here are my latest sketches
I feel my female faces are getting a little better, but I'd like to evolve more :p especially technically (proportions, anatomy, ...)

    dude, cool stuff.
But u don't seem to be progressing as you should!
the portraits, are those from live/photos?
If so, your just drawing what you think you see and not waht is actually there.
Try to forget what you know (how an eye looks, what lips look like etc.)
and focus on lines and planes, build up your portrait with geometrical shapes.
At first you won't see the use of it, but as you progress with the drawing you will see the face coming out of it!

    hope this helps
    cheers and work harder!

I like the yellow one more, gives a more dramatic feel to it methinks.
Don't forget that dudes have ribcages, the left guy is feeling kind of deflated.
