got a new job...
thank you pijus!! yeah, ur right. i've been working on anatomy now and i hope to improve. i'll post some of those sketches as well. the problem is that i dont have any teacher here, i just learn from the great artist here on CONCEPTART.org
you should see my shading skills before i joined here... hahaha... awful and horrible!!!
Nice work. You are good in transfering what you see on paper, just work a little bit on anatomy and of course : draw, draw .....
i'v just started doing oil paintings. they are definitely not as easy as i thought they would be. but they are sure loads of fun!! i'm trying to learn their application through books. and another watercolor plus a rough study of Michealangelo's pieta.
You may also be interested in downloading Bridgman and Loomis books for figure. Otherwise keep doing studies, and good luck from one art student to another.
"Remember, there are things which you are in complete control of: How hard you work, how quickly you grow (this is closely related to how hard you work), recognizing opportunities, and taking advantage of them, what you know, and what you learn, being a great student with a curious mind (this should last your entire life), your willingness to share, to be taught, surrounding yourself with more talented people, more driven people, etc., committing to you goals and embracing them as part of your lifestyle, etc." -Hundley Sterling
Anytime, just keep the art coming! If theirs anything I can do to help let me know :]
