Digital Stained Glass x2

[Viridis]

A few new pieces. The first is an illustration I plan to use for my website when I finally get around to building it (I need to learn CSS first, which is rather tripping me up), and the second is an assignment from my Illustration I class in character concepts. The character is "Lady Time." In retrospect, as a character piece I probably should have involved more of the narrative for her, but I'm pretty happy with it as a stand-alone piece anyway.

I like the border in the 2nd one. Is that a picture of real glass?

That is a good idea. I am going to photograph a bunch of stained glass to use as textures.

The second one is actually a high-resolution scan of gold leaf (variegated) that I used the clone stamp tool to apply to the selected area of the border. It was two different pages of leaf merged into the border. Everything else is just digital effects.
