Hey all, thanks for positive feedback.
Glad you guys are digging the moodvistas.tm , I really was happy with the way they turned out.. they were reletivly quick to make and gave great direction.

BigOrange: unfortunatly, i was only tasked the russians, but i'll bug the other guys and see if they want to contribute their work to the thread

Ill see if i can dig up some more work

Very cool, I think that the above grave pic is the most striking and effective. Its a very haunting image. Other than that the Berlin pic with all the crows is pretty incredible. Nice work.

Thanks again for all the positivity!

LeoSnow: I created the moodvistas in Early preproduction as a quick way to establish mood, lighting, palette, weather for every level. This allowed us to put them together to see overall game progression and give general direction for the moodshots that followed soon after. I dont believe they were ever used as actual skyboxes.

    Great stuff!

The mood mattes are very slick and effective. The night time concept of the pacific island beach is excellent too - it appears to have made the transition into the game perfectly as well. If you don't mind my asking, do you still do character models as well or are you full-time concepting now?

    Cheers, Nick.
