Looks good, man. Maybe some texture on the tree to make it more obvious that it's a tree?

    Really sweet, though.

Lookin good Sam, lots of improvement in that last image. However, I feel there were a couple of little things you could have done to help polish up the image. Small things like photographic effects, such as depth of field and higher contrast etc. Anyways though, I get the feeling you're a bit sick of working on it, so just remember to apply what you learnt to the next one and keep pushing it

Nice transitions on that one ,no doubt about it.

Backround is too simplified/one layered so next time more depth into it, keep pushing!

You are kicking ass dude! Keep up the "modern" master studies. The composition's kinda weak in

but it's finished so maybe just think about it more in your next piece. Great improvement from the first to last page though, I'm jealous.

I like the cleanliness and careful brush work in the last one - very well done.
A quick note would be to add more hue variation to the warm lighted side. objects rarely have 1 a single hue.

    Keep up

Pastel looks pretty coool. Eventhough I hate it as a medium. And Marko is the man haha. Really like how you're doing the blade guy. Far above anything i ever produced with crayons. Damn do i hate those. looking promising haha. And cool to see you using zbrush. Just make sure you use the lowest subdivision as possible and only work hires when detailing. IN that way you'll be able to achieve a lot of a smoother look and more control. So go use the smooth tool now ;p. Looks pretty rigid but awesome first try haha!

Hey man, you got some great work ethic going on here. Just remember to see the figure you're drawing as a whole, your figure studies are a little off. Starting out with big forms and little detail should help you seeing things as a single entity.

Cool update man. Selfportrait looks neat. Though you kinda exaggerated your eye lashes. You're not a girl eheee. But yea love the values. Cool still life as well. Not a big fan of the brush though. Sketch looks fun. And yea gotta love those kind girls studies!

Pretty sexy update. Girl still have to angular lines though. Look at Adam Hughes the pin-up master and start to use some more c and s curves. Makes your babes a lot more appealing. Cool to see you doing studies of the exact same pics as Miles with those boxers ;p. But yea the love me part totally powns his studies. Coolio.

You're getting a lot better at capturing different atmospheres with your life work (especially evident in this last update; damn, man). I wanna see you push a study a little further, some time.

Use of soft brushes has definitely been helping with defining form and edges. I really like the unpolished look of the still life. Do more!

Self portrait is one of your better ones, though the shadows around nose and cheek are too sharp.

soften up and lighten up your hatching on those pencil studies! A lot of the times it seems like you're more concerned with laying down a patch of value than controlling your strokes. Building up smaller strokes will give you more control, but will be much slower. Practice rendering the slow way before trying to get into the short hand and broad strokes.
